Extreme Diarrhea and morning sickness in first trimester sign of twins?

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and have had severe all day/night sickness since 3 weeks pregnant. I am also suffering from bouts of diarrhea on a nearly daily basis some way worse than others. I haven't had my levels tested and i know it sounds crazy but even thought i was feeling butterflies in my belly while laying down the other night. This is my third pregnancy i have 2 girls, I keep dreaming of twins but at 6 weeks had an ultrasound that said there was just one bub..... Could my intuition be wrong? Either way happy to be pregnant! :)

I had no morning sickness with my twins or with my 2 previous pregnancies but I did feel extremely heavy in my belly at only 4 weeks but I didn't think anything of it... until the u/s at 7 weeks when we saw 2!!!!

No those aren't signs of twins. Only a sonogram or blood test could confirm that - such as your levels being higher than normal.

What did your latest u/s say? Strong symptoms aren't necesarrily a sign of twins. I had no morning sickness at all and had no clue it was twins till half way through my pregnancy at my first u/s @ 19/20 weeks.

Thanks, I have another ultrasound tomorrow morning so I'll find out then :) Thinking positive all the symptoms will disappear soon.

Sorry you're having such a hard time! If there was just one on 6 weeks, then chances are it's still one. There isn't really a hard and fast way to tell if you're having twins based on symptoms. And plus, as you know, each pregnancy is different. My morning sickness was worse with my singleton daughter than it was with my twin pregnancy.
