my twin boys are 9 months old and iam finding it very diificult weening them! they wont eat anything and just prefer bottles! how did everyone else find weening their twins?
when did your twins start sleeping through night? mine wont and me and my partner are very tired!!

A good piece of advice is to have a bedtime routine so that they know when its bedtime. We turn off all the lights except for a table lamp, turn on a lullaby cd and feed our 11 month old daughters a bottle. They we put them in their cribs, rub their backs and turn on another lullaby cd to play in their room. They have been sleeping through the night since about 8 weeks old. As far as weening goes, I started at around 4 months with just plain rice cereal - very watery. I tried it at dinner every night, one of my daughters took to it, the other wanted nothing to do with it for anohter few weeks. I just kept trying. If its watery, I think they are more likely to try it b/c its not thick. After they get into eating from a spoon and the rice cereal, gradually thicken it and move up to other cereals. Don't give up!!

Helo i have identical twin boys who are 10 months old now i am still breastfeeding and have no intention of weaning them anytime soon so im not sure about that but they are only 9 months old why would you be weaning them so early they still need to drink milk at their age?? My boys still dont sleep through the night either but as they are smaller then a normal baby i am guessing they still need that feed in the night so i am not overly worried about them sleeping through yet especially if they still need it and they will eventually sometimes you just have to accept that they will do these things in their own time when they are ready you kinda cant make them lol. Keep trying them with solids mine were off and on for about a month before they fully got into eating you just have to be consistant. Good luck.

I recall that my girls went thru phases with sleeping all night and then waking up again during the night. I think they finally started sleeping all the way thru every night at about 2. And to be honest, I dont think I was able to get my girls off of bottles till around a year old. I found that my twins hit milestones later than my oldest daughter, but I heard and read that it was normal, not sure why though.
