I have identical twin boys that will be 5 in Sept.Man oh man do they fight, but they also love each other they seem to only fight when one has the other ones shoe or some lil something like that.Yes they wear the same shoes, but i swear to you they can tell them apart wich is kinda strange to me bc their shoes are identical like them lol.Anywho they fight like crazy when they get mad at each other, but they were in preschool lastyear and this lil boy jumped on twin a and twin b jumped in and they both beat up this lil boy didnt hurt him or anything, but i think they were telling that lil boy just bc u see us fight sometimes dosnt mean we want take up and care for each other. They love being around each other if one goes to my moms the other one has to go to.They cant stand to be apart so its kinda weird that they fight with each other, but cant stand to be apart.

Im a 25 year old twin and still fight with my brother. Don't get me wrong were really close, but we still physically fight. I thinks its because I was so much bigger and stronger than him when we were younger, so now he has a point to prove now that he's "tougher".

My girls just started as well. The eldest of the two has learned to crawl first and she takes complete advantage of her sister but its not really fighting I think more curiousity. The same way they grab our hair and bite on us, she does to her sister but of course she is not as tolerant. At night she crwals on top of her sister and likes to fall asleep as close to her as possible, she doesn't complain then.

i have 5year old twin girls and they still do that now.I think in twins there is always one dominant than the other. Hopefully we can get them out of it.

My twin boys who are 11 fight all the time. The one is more aggressive than the other one. The other one thinks of his brother and makes sure he is always included and the other one leaves the non-aggressive one out. It can only get better, right?

My twin boys are going to be 14 next month and they fight more now than when they were younger. Or maybe it just seems that way? LOL.

My twins will be 9 yrs old this month and have quit fighting on the most part, they used to fight like cats and dogs but are best buddies now! I think they fight mostly to establish a pecking order! Someone HAS to be the instigator! And i do have to say... that they get easier every passing year! I didnt think I would make it out sane.. But they havn't locked me up yet!

My twins are still in my tummy but my 16 month old son and his cousin do the same thing. My boy is kinda timid so I worry about him, if his cousin is already pushing him around... but he just kinda walks the other way. Neither is bad I think just testing boundaries. I think its good that one of your twins is assertive and the other is more passive. They will probably grow out of this but at least you know that they are comfortable being seperate individuals with seperate personalties.

Mine are 18 months and have recently started biting all the time and I'm scared to take them out in public for people to see the welts on each other :( My daughter is naughtier than my son she is always pushing and taking things from him and it just drives me crazy all the fighting and screaming all day long.I hope it is just a phase and will be over soon(cross my fingers)

My twins started their fighting right in the womb (I swear!) and they continued to do it for over 20yrs. I thought they would grow up hating eachother. They acted like they hated eachother, but you know what? They were inseprable even still. Now, they are 30, and very close. I'm pretty sure if they had to live with eachother for any length of time, the fighting would eventually begin though. It's like watching a love/hate relationship. The physical fighting will stop, but if your twins are anything like mine, it may take miles of distance for it to happen.

They'll get past it. I think twins start 'playing' with each other earlier than other kids and just don't know how to do it. She knows her sister is there to play with and just doesn't understand how anything can be more important than what SHE wants. LOL, all babies are little divas that way. Good Luck, at 10 monthes mine were conspiring to push chairs over to the counter so they could climb up and help themselves to fruit! Fighting might be a good thing :-)
