I have 3 children and am now pregnant with twins..with this pregnancy I am much more emotional than with any of my others..Has anyone experienced this as well? It seems like I can cry or get mad at the drop of a hat..I feel so sorry for my boyfriend and my friends and family..they never know how I am gonna react to something lol..

Don't worry!! I was exactly the same, I have 2 sets of twins and I've just had Triplets and my family never knew how I would react to things either. I found it got easier after around the 19-20 week mark but I had all of my multiples before 30 weeks so it gets better just hang in there xx

Quoting Heather:

I am the same way!! I have four other children, and I am currently 17 weeks pregnant with twins. I cry so easily, and I get angry easily! It is so strange!! Do you know what you are having yet??

we are having two beautiful identical twin girls...

Yeah definitely sounds familiar. We have three boys at home already and are expecting twins in May and I can definitely say by far that I am a complete and utter wreck with these two than I ever was with the others. Sometimes I'm stuck between a cry and a laugh because it's so crazy to me how emotional I am. I'm a complete basket case with these babies. Congratulations on your identical twin girls!

Don't feel bad, with multiples, hormones and morning sickness are usually much worse! Congratulations!

Completely normal! I definately related to the woman on Jerry McGuire when she's yelling on the phone then calmly says "I'm sorry, I'm just a little bit pregnant right now." Every time I got angry, so about every 5 minutes or so (lol) I just thought of her, which made me laugh and quit screaming and random people. I was a mess with the boys! No one wanted to be around me, and I didn't want them around either. I was so miserable! Then right after delivery-it got worse. I cried and cried and cried then I was so angry and yelling at every nurse in sight. I felt NUTS! So then I'd cry some more. I think it's probably normal.
Twins are exciting! Don't stress and worry until after they're born... that's probably the only thing that made it easier for me. I spent as much time as possible with my 3 year old because once the twins are out, that's it. No free time, period. Some days I have to go a full 16 hours without peeing. My three year old will grab a baby and run lol. Seriously though.
Hope this made you at least smile :D

during my pregnancy i would write down my weight and measurements just so that one day i could look back and see how much my body chnged with my twins. i have to say i went from a skinny 5'3 115lbs 28 inch waist, just before they were born i was 167lbs and a 45 inch waist! it was amazing the changes that your body goes through. plus its so amazing when you feel them move inside, i swear my b/g twins were already fighting before they even came out!

Congratulations!

Everything I've read about a twin pregnancy says that the symptoms are much more intense. If you have morning sickness, fatigue, and emotions, a multiple pregnancy will increase it.

Oh my goodness, I was a complete mess in my first trimester. Mood swings, 24/7 morning sickness, utter exhaustion. In my second trimester I was spaced. The most chilled I've ever been in my whole life. Nothing but nothing could upset me. Unfortunately I didn't have a third trimester because my girls were born at 28 weeks.

I was the same way. Also, unfortunately, morning sickness never went away because of having twice the hormones. Try to go with the flow. It is only temporary, even tho it doesn't always feel like it!

Hugs to you. With twins you have double of everything and that means hormones too. My first children are my twins so I dont have a singleton pregnancy to compare it to but other mums have told me the same as you. Just warn family & friends that you are emotional so they know. Congrats on your twins too! :)
