health problems after pregnancy with twins?

Blair..I have the same problem. A psychiatrist will treat you..you don't need your docs permission. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes, so many problems and my Dr. just brushed it off as normal adjustment after twins/pregnancy, so I went to a new doctor and finally someone to help me. I had a very easy pregnancy and delivered via C-Section because both were breach but I was full term (for twins - 38 weeks). I have cramping muscle pain in different parts of my stomach and back and bladder spasims. Additionally a great amount of hip pain and PPD. Oh yeah, I also had trouble with the Spinal block they gave me. they placed it really high and I have spasims in my back which repeated massage therapy has helped but not completely erased. Still have the cramping pain in stomach muscles every once in a while but getting better

Iam sorry for all of you, me also I have pain in my knees and back so much I cant sit or stand after sitting the doctor said its because the weight now I loss the weight but still the pain

its helpful to know that other people have gone through the same thing and that its not all in my head which it seems my present doctor thinks. new symptoms have presented so im making a doctors appointment with a new doctor next week. its been over a year since my gall bladder removal and nothing has changed whatsoever so i think its time i get it sorted out. thanks for all your messages ladies. it really does help!

I have had the same experience. I had my gall bladder out after several severe attacks and pancreatitis when my twins were only 2 months old. Also had other stomach problems, became hypoglycemic, developed severe migraines, fatigue, depression (which I always had but it got worse after my twins). I am having hard time with doctors as well so I can't help you there. I did have some tests though and everything "looks" fine except I am slightly anemic. I can say that now that it's been 3 years since my gallbladder removal my other stomach symptoms have improved so that is good--I've heard it takes your body time to adjust and of course a healthier diet helps too. u poor thing. i was delivered by c section 5 weeks early cause one of my boys umbilical cord stopped working and he wasnt growing but i didnt go into labour or anything. i wish i could get my weight off but in the past yr im almost back to what i was the last week of my pregnancy so that doesnt help. yeah so tru u cant let the depression get the best of you when you have 2 little ones the same age to run around after. ive just decided to change doctors cause the one im with now just doesnt listen and says well we have tested for all the bad stuff so at least we know its nothing serios and leaves it at that. i now have to wait till december to do more tests that my gastro specialist asked for but its a long time to wait.

MY TWINS ARE TURNING 3 IN AUGUST. I WAS IN PRETERM LARBOR FOR 3 MONTHS ON ALL THESE DIFFERNT STEROIDS. AFTER I HAD THE TWINS I LOST ALL THE WEIGHT FAST AND IT KEPT COMING OFF. WENT TO THE DOCTORS AND THEY TOLD ME I WAS JUST STREESSED, BUT COME TO FIND OUT I HAVE CRTYS ALL OVER MY OVERIES AND UTERUS I HAVE GRAVES DIEASE AND MY KIDNEY ARENT FULLY FUNCTIONING. DEPRESSION YES BUT HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH IT WHEN YOU ARE TRING TO SURVIVE THE DAY OF TWINS. CHANGE YOUR DOCTOR AS MANY AS TIMES TIL YOU FIND THE PERSON THAT LISTENS TO YOU.

ive been tested for everything but the only real thing they have told me is that my liver function isnt right and it has been like that for 2yrs now and it seems as tho they are not worried about it but i sorta am. yeah the ill feeling is what i have. ive been to the doctor so many times about it but they seem to think i am just putting it all on.

I've suffered with depression, and have this nagging ill feeling all the time! Not sure what it is, but it won't go away. My doctor just blows me off too, but be persistent, cuz now he is finally sending me for tests!
