We use the Mothercare Twin Vesta pram and it suits us ok though we can't get into many shops as it's a side-by-side pram. It's suitable from birth and the back adjusts to allow the babies to either sit-up or lie-down.

We have a Mothercare Twin Vesta pram and though I wasn't sure about it at the start as I really didn't want a forward facing pram (but in the end that's all we could find) it's been brilliant for us. It's a side-by-side pram so we can't get it through any doors unless they're double doors but it's easy to manouvere as it has 3 wheels, quite light for it's size, and the back rest is adjustable so the babies can lie on their backs or sit up.

When my girls were little I used a gracco tandem stroller because their carseat carriers could fit into it. I really liked it. But now that they have nearly outgrown their carriers I have switched to a maclaren side -by-side because it is easier to maneuver and it fits in small places. Ironically it s not as easy to open and close as the gracco was. We also have a chariot for camping, hiking and longer walks, Will eventually use it for bike riding too.

If you have newborns regardless of style (side-by-side or tandem) I would recommend getting something that is compatible with carseat carriers. We brought our babies everywhere with the carriers and if they fell asleep it was easy to put them in the car or stroller without disturbing them.

hi im in the uk and had the icandy pear its like a single pram and i had 2 carrycots for newborn and maxi cosy car seats that could clip on.also from 6m it went into a pram the best bit was i can either have the facing me or front facing.its very study and easy to push.fits thru doors.the only thing its bulky to fold down and mine are now 14m old and the one sitting at the back cannot see. so i got a light side by side on for ease xxgood luck

The best of all we had and tried was Kolcraft Contours Tandem. Very easy to push, sturdy, seats tilt beautifully for newborns OR you can put both car seats on it instead, and relatively inexpensive.

I think it depends on what you will be using it for. We had a few. My favorite was the double umbrella stroller because it was light weight, easy to fold up and pack in the car. Easy to push. The girls could sit up or lay down and not bother the other one. I loved it! However, it was a side by side and didn't fit through doors well...

I never found a tandem stroller that was easy to push :( So I can't help you much there. When our girls were old enough to sit up on their own I gave up on strollers and got a wagon!
