Use Dawn dish soap! It works on anything waxy or greasy, like bright red lipstick! Yes, I know from experience! :)

Don't wet the hair first. Apply the soap/shampoo to hair, leave to work and then rinse. If you wet the hair first it's a nightmare to get any oil out.

I know it sounds funny but it works - my daughter thought that if she put vaseline in her hair it would be soft and shiny. Use Dawn Dishwashing soap. It cuts the grease!!!! Use it like shampoo - it might take two washes but it works. Let me know how you do.

Just be patient and keep washing it. It'll come out. We had to put baby oil in my daughter's hair to get rid of cradle cap and it took a few good washes to come out. Now, we're always cleaning food out of their hair! Good luck!
