my twins were 5lbs 12oz and 5lbs 9oz....i was 3 days off of being full term....i would just like to know how heavy other peoples Twins were at birth....

mine were 3.11 and the other was 3.15..they were nine weeks early..7 and 1/2 years later..the 3.15 baby is now 69 lbs and the other one is 49 lbs..

Well i delivered my twins at 34 weeks...Andrew(baby a) weighed 4lbs.9ozs. and Bailey (baby b) weighed 5lbs..4oz

my twins were 5lbs 7oz and 5lbs 5oz - i was 13 days off being full term. They'll be 4 in February, full of energy and growing very well! :)

my twins were both 4lbs 15oz at birth they were 5 wks premature. they were both very health and never had to see the NICU. We were so lucky. There were no complications. They are 5 and a half now and one is almost 40 lbs the other is about 35. They have a little brother that just turned 4 and is the same size as the smaller twin. I am a single mom of these three wonderfull mirecles and have been for over three yrs now. The twins are in kidergaden and have recently been diagnosed with ADHD and my little one goes to a special preschool for children with mild to moderate disabilities because his speech is not very understandable. Reading all these replies totally amazes me! Everyone's twins seemed so big, full term or not. My girls were 5 weeks early. Kaya (A) was 4lb 15oz and 18 1/2 in long, and Jaci (B) was 4lbs 12oz and 17 1/2 in long. No real complications, but Jaci had low blood sugar and Kaya had some issues breathing, but they only spent one extra day in the hospital and that was because of jaundice. They are now 2 and Jaci is an inch taller and 2-3lbs heavier (since they were about 3 months old). They looked nothing alike at birth, and now they look almost identical.

Mine were born at 30 weeks, so they were only 2 lbs. 13 oz. and 2 lbs. 14 oz. They were in the NICU for a month and a half.

Beautiful family Tessa! My twins were born at 31 weeks. My daughter weighed 2 lbs. and my son 2 1/2 lbs. They were IUGR (not growing in the womb) but now you can't tell. They've already caught up in height and weight to the average 4 year old.

My boy's were 5 lbs 15oz and 6 lbs 12oz and I was a week off of being full term. Even though they were big boys for twins they still had problems. We were all in the hospital for a week.

My twins were 7lbs 7oz and 7lbs 1oz...they were two weeks early...so technically they consider that full term.

I have two sets of twins. The elder two were delivered at 38 weeks and weighed 7lbs 3oz and 5lbs 3 oz. The second set were delivered at 36 weeks and weighed 6lbs 6oz and 6lbs 8oz. All healthy babies.

Alana baby A was born at 6lbs 4.5 ozs and Savana (baby B) was 6lbs 3.8 ozs. I gave birth at 38 weeks and a day (I was induced) because they measured them both at 7lbs on the last ultrasound.

Wow! I pray your twins grow to be health and strong. I thank God everyday that my twins were born so very healthy. They were very unexpectedly conceived and we were quite surpirsed! I somehow always felt I would carry them full term and that I'd be able to deliver them vaginally. I thank God and am so grateful I was able to deliver naturally with no complications. I pray for those who have difficult pregnancies and births.

Lets hope there are more twins that weigh what yours did than what there is that are my boys weight. My twins were 1lbs 14oz and 1lbs 8oz.

I had a c-section at 39 weeks because Ezra (Twin A) was breech and Coral (Twin B) was transverse. Ezra weighed 6lbs. and 9oz. at birth while Coral weighed 6 lbs. and 3 oz. Now at 2 years old and 1 month he's around 30 lbs and she's around 28lbs. He's been a good 2-3 pounds heavier since they were 2 months old or so. They are so much fun to watch together! :-) Margaret

for the record, my singleton was 8lbs 7oz and 5 3 days late. I think I grow them big :)

the boy was 5lbs 12oz and the girl 4lbs 12oz and were born at 37 weeks .there 20 months old now and the boy is about 30 lbs and the girl about 27 lbs.

My baby girls stayed in until 39 weeks and 2 days and they weighed 7 pounds 12 oz and the other weighed 5 pounds 14 oz. They are now just over 16 pounds and they are 9 months old!

my boys were 5 lbs. 7.5 oz. and 6 lbs. I had begged to be induced at 36 weeks and my doc said no because I hadn't dilated at all and he wanted them to go to 38 weeks. Well, at 1am on the 1st day of my 38th week, my water broke and they were born later that night via c-section.

My girls were 3 weeks early. Baby A was 5lbs 6oz and Baby B was 6lbs 3 oz. They are now 27 years of age. I did not know that I was even having twins until 6 weeks before they were born.

Because of InVitro, I knew I was extactly 35wks 1day when they were born. She was first @ 4lbs 12oz, and he was 5lbs 1oz. We stayed in the hospital for 2 extra days becuase she couldn't retain heat, thankfully there were no other health issues!
