I was slimmer once I left the hospital than what I was post pregancy.. Altough I put on a lot of the weight a month or so later. I have put on 10KG the only thing is im not enjoying the 'skin pouch' I now have how long does this take to go??? Is there anything I can do to improve it?? Or will it ever go?

Good for you!! MY twins are almost 13 months. I gained 45 lbs and still have 25 to lose. But I was 15 lbs heavier than I wanted to be when I got pregnant....So I really want to lose 40. I am a stay at home mom and was not able to breastfeed very long due to fat processing in the smaller one. Best of luck on your last 15 lbs.

I gained approx. 30 lbs with my twins and left most of it in the delivery room. :) (This was *not* the case with my first child!) I exclusively BF my twins, so the weight came off very easily...in fact, by the time they were a year old, I was actually 10 lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight. The problem was when they started nursing less and I was still eating the same amount...I gained some back. :(
You've lost 45 lbs in 7 weeks?! Wow! Don't worry about those last 15...it takes 9 months to put the weight on, and often takes a year for it to come off. I'm sure once they are mobile and you're chasing after them, you'll lose even more. :)

my twin girls are number #4 and #5 for me. My first 3 were natural births and i was back to normal and in shape within weeks of having them. This time i had to have a C-section with the twins, only because one decided to turn breech at the last minute, and I have to admit.. i regret the c-section everyday. My body looks horrible, granted i've lost every bit of the 25lbs i gained... but it's the stretched out belly and the stretch marks that got left behind. I have covered all the mirrors in my house from the neck down and refuse to allow myself access to what the body really looks like. Being depressed with 5 kids and a ugly ugly body seems to put a damper on being a mom and having fun.

I gained 40 lbs with my twins but I only made it to 33 weeks. I did lose most of it quickly. They both had colic and the only thing that worked was strolling them in the stroller around my house. Good workout :) I've "lost" all the baby weight but things still aren't back to "normal." They were my 2nd pregnancy and I did have a c-section with them. I can't get rid of that belly pooch.

I gained 45 lbs with my twins and lost all of it in 2 weeks. Problem is the big saggy pouch now. I got stretched so far. I was HUGE in the front, but didn't look pregnant from behind. They just turned 1 this past Sunday.... My stomach still looks like hell. But I don't work out or exercise. (bad ped/auto accident years ago.. I have vertigo & other head issues) so I'm starting to walk (wagon ride for the twins) now that it's getting nicer outside. I am very depressed about how I look now, but it took a long time to get pregnant & these are my two miracles! So I try not to think about it.. maybe I have to cover the mirrors in the house too!! heeheehee!

I gained 90 pounds and lost 40 after delivery. I still need to lose 30 pounds and my boys are 16 months. Slow and steady wins the race.

I gained about 30lbs with my twin girls, lost most of it about 20lbs within the first few weeks, but i wasnt really active after i had them so i still had the 10lbs and im working out now and ive lost 5lbs but im only 5lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight and i still have a lil belly. my body to me looks totally different even though im only 5lbs heavier than before, not sure if i can work off the belly since i had a c-section as well -shrug-

With my first son, I gained 25lbs and lost it all in about 2 weeks. With my second pregnancy & twin boys I gained 45lbs and once again, lost it all in about 2 weeks. I breastfeed my first son but could only breastfeed a bit the twins for the first 2 months but was bottle feeding as well. However!>>...my body doesn't look the same. I might be the same "weight" but not the same "shape". I'm not as toned as I used to be and my abs were seperated and I'm still trying to work on them...so even if I'm a size 5...I still have a bit of a piece of belly left on me...my small muffin top! lol I found I was in better shape after my first pregnancy than my twin pregnancy cause I used to walk just about every day...but now with 3 kids...I hardly walk. I didn't get a triple stroller and my first son was less than 2 years old when the twins were born. Therefore I'm less active and have to push myself to do some sort of workout at night once the boys are asleep.

Well I have to say that when I had my first set of twins I had gained about 70 lbs, 50 of that was gone within the first month of birth and the last 20 took awhile. I had a c-section and lots of stretch marks and the little pouch you get with the section. fast forward 15 years and I got a tummy tuck. the doc says "are you done having babies?" and I of course say "yes!!! " Well I guess I was wrong because I got pregnant again and now am the proud mama of another set of identical twins!!! 20 years later!!!

I gained about 50 lbs with this set and have only lost 30 of it. the great thing is I think the tummy tuck helped keep everything tight, no stretch marks this time and only a little pouch left which I hope will go away with the next 20 lbs. My boys are 4 months now and I haven't really worked out yet.

If not I guess my plastic surgeon is in for a surprise!!!!

I gain 30lbs w/ my twin boys and 2 weeks later i lost 25lbs. Im still the same weight but i look like im still 4 mon pregnant. other moms w/ c-section have this problem?? will it ever go away?????

I gained 40 and lost like 25 or so in the first few months, and breastfed for 4 months. By 9 months, it was all off.
