I carried my fraternal twins to 36.5 weeks, i was induced due to my son's growth stopping, while his sister was thriving. They thought he'd benefit more being out of the womb. I had a natural birth & my twins were born 21mins apart my son was born first & was 4.5pound & my daughter was 5.4 pound

Mine were not even 2 weeks early and my daughter weighed 7.2lbs and was 20 in. My son was 7lbs and 21 in. I happened to be in the hospital for a kidney infection and was in labor 19 hours before they realized it! It was crazy! I was very lucky because neither one of my kids had any type of health problem, they didnt even have to go to the NICU. My OB said he had never delivered a set of twins that were that healthy and kept rechecking them to make sure something wasnt missed. It was beyond a blessing...

My little girl-baby A was 3 pounds 7 ounces and my little guy was 3 pounds and 14 ounces. He was in the nicu for 2 weeks and she had to stay a month, now they are both happy, healthy babies!

I went into labor at 31 weeks, 4 days. The dr gave me meds to try and stop the labor but 4 hours later the meds weren't working and I delivered my 1st son, weighing in at 4lbs 1oz and 13 minutes later i delivered his brother and he was 2lbs 14oz. They spent a month in the nicu but are 7 months now and aside from still being a little small, they are doing faantastic.

I carried my sweet girls to 36 weeks and 6 days. I had been admitted to the hospital the day before for observation of my high blood pressure. During an ultrasound, Twin A, Lyla, showed low levels of amniotic fluid and so they were born by C-section that afternoon. They were a minute apart. Lyla was 5.1 lbs. Lainie was 5.2 lbs.

I am 36 weeks and 5 days. Doctor plans to take them at 38 weeks if I haven't delivered by then. I have four other children, and two previous c-sections. So Dr. is concerned with how much my uterus can stretch! Especially now that I have a fundal height of 42 last week!! I am beginning to wonder if these babies are EVER going to come! ;o)

My water broke at 36 weeks and had to have a c-section since they were both lateral. both were 4lbs 9oz and 17 inches long. They were in the NICU for 10 days because they needed to learn to eat. Now they are 20 months and you could never tell that they were early.

We had IVF treatment to get our twins. I carried them for 38 weeks and then had to deliver by c-section both babies as they were both breech. I had a boy Harrison who was 6lb 8oz and a girl Ava Grace who was 3lb 10oz. Our little girl was so small because I had a problem with her placenta and she was unable to get all the nutrients she needed. We all stayed in the hospital for ten days as our little girl had to be tube fed for the first week as she would not take to the breast and she would not keep anything down. Our little lad was healthy and took to the breast a day after he was born.

I carried my fraternal twin girls to 34 weeks. started getting really bad back pain so called the doc told me to meet him at the hospital to get checked and got emitted was 5 cm dilated and then the next morning had my girls shortly after 9 in the morning being 13 min apart. Chloe (baby A) was first weighing 5 lbs 4 oz. and Claire (baby B) weighing 4 lbs 19 oz. did it all natural no meds no stitches. they are now 2 yrs old and are healthy and a handful . =)

they also spent 2 weeks in NICU at St Josephs hospital just to make sure everything was alright. they were eating fine and breathing on their own had a slight case of jaundice but not bad.

I carried my twins to 38 weeks, when my water broke...on the toilet of all the lucky places! I had my son naturally as he was positioned perfectly to push out. I had my daughter also naturally, but she had to be pulled out by the doctor after numerous attempts of trying to "turn her around" in order for me to push her out. They were 12 minutes apart. My boy was 5 lbs 14 oz & 18 1/4" long. My girl was 4 lbs 3 oz & 17" long. My son got to go home w/me after I was released from the hospital, but my daughter needed to be in the NICU for 2 more weeks & we brought her home coincentally on my due date. To this day, they are still a world apart in weight & height. They are almost 5 & my son weighs 50 lbs & stands over 43" tall (haven't measured him since last Dec, so he may be taller), while my daughter weighs a mere 33 lbs & stands over 37" tall (haven't measured her since last Dec either).

I had a scheduled c-section for my twins @ 38 weeks. Eliana was 6lbs 13oz and Selena was 6lbs 10oz. They had to stay an extra day because they both had jaundice but other than that, they were healthy. A lot of people tell me that I did good with holding the twins for that long.

I went into labor 23 weeks, I had a great doctor that kept everything going good for the babies, with bedrest in hospital, indosin for cervix to stop thinning, pegestrone shots for early bleeding, and rh negetive shot for my blood type. So with all her help I made it to 34 weeks!! I didnt know I was in labor either was dialated to 4 at a doctors appointment. Had c section, baby A was 4lbs 13oz and baby B was 4lbs 7oz....were healthy as can be too!!

[deleted account]

Carried them till 39 weeks + one day for a planned c-section (they were both breech and there were some possible cord prolapse issues if my water broke).

They weighed 7 pounds 4 oz. each and very healthy.

i carried to 37 weeks and three days. The doctor took them by c-section. I had not tried to have them on my own. Who knows when I would have had them if the doctor had not stepped in. They were 5.10 and 5.09. they were born one minute apart, very healthy came home two days later. At three weeks they had to have surgery because they were both pyloric.

As soon as he told me that I started having contractions and we did a c-section that day and they were 2 min apart! Thank goodness because I just couldn't carry my huge belly anymore...ha!

I went 34w6d (35 weeks by my calculations!). My water broke, knew they were breech so made them check again with a last minute u/s and had a c-section after about 8 hours of irregular contractions cos I had eaten just before going to the hospital (got a slapped wrist for that!). I am only 5 feet tall so feel proud to have kept my boys in that long! They were 5lb1oz and 5lb6oz and both about 19 inches long. 9 days in nicu learning to breastfeed...no other issues. Breastfed til they were 26 and 28 months :-)

my triplets (one passed away at 20 wks from TTTS) were born at 31 weeks and 5 days. i went into premature labor. they did everything they could to try to stop it but their house was caving in (placenta was ripping away from my uterus) and it wasn't going to stop. had an ER c-section; emali weighed 3 lbs. 11 oz. and jazmin weighed 3 lbs. 10 oz. we had a funeral for elisha also. :o)
