made it to 37 weeks. Vaginal birth with the second baby breech. 2.6kg and 3.3kg. A lot of reasons for induction such as swelling, exhaustion, hip pain, where i couldn't get into bed, no growth for one bubs in 3 weeks and the surgeons were available and a bed was free in the nicu. Was told at 24 weeks one of my bubs had a hole in her diaphragm with bowel stopping her lung from growing. Was in nicu for 3weeks after surgery at 2 days old and special care for a week. the smallest twin tripled hip weight by 4 months old and my lil girl screams the house down when she needs too. 5 months old now.

I made it to 33wks and 6 days! Mind you, I was carrying right around my midsection and was actually glad when they decided to come early! In saying that I had a c-section, which of course took a little while to get over!

39 weeks is awesome! I made 37 and felt like I could go longer, but my doctor said I was having contractions and they were ready. I never really felt contractions, just uncomfortable. But they were almost 7 pounds a piece!

Argh, how are you girls getting sections scheduled at 36 weeks? I went into preterm labor 3 weeks ago, stopped it long enough to get em steroid shots, already good sizes, doc was ready to take em then and there but my labor didnt progress. Now he wont scheduled me until 38 weeks, on July 11th. I'm dying here!

edit: My water broke a little while later at 2:40pm after making this post! They were delivered via csection at 5:23. 5 lbs 3 oz and 5 lbs 12 oz, no nicu time

Was booked for a section at 36w6d, but wound up having an emergency section at 35w6d. One boy was about three weeks behind the other and from about week 28 they were being monitored with weekly ultrasounds. Everything was fine until the very last ultrasound when they found an issue with the umbilical blood flow and sent us to the hospital. J was 3lbs, 15 oz, B was 5 lbs, 1 oz. B was out of the NICU in hours, J was there for 5 days. Three months old now and growing like weeds!

34weeks wasn't easy at 19weeks found out i had Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome doctor wasnt sure i would make it pass 28 weeks so at 25weeks i got my first dose of steroids which totally scared me but i proved the doc wrong and made it to 32weeks at home and the last two weeks in the hospital on bed rest.

37 weeks 7 days! C-section delivery due to Baby A being breech. Babies weighed 6lbs 8 oz. and 6lbs 2oz, which is impressive given my size of 4'11"!! I was put on bedrest at 9 weeks and had to quit my new job. I had a few episodes at the hospital one for constipation and the other due to a fainting incodent during summer time with low blood pressure. Congratz all you momma's who have made it!

I had my boys at 37 w 3 d, and they were 5 lb 13 oz and 6 lb 5 oz. The last month was really hard, because I had terrible hip pain and had a lot of trouble walking and lying in bed. I pretty much spent the final month on the couch propped up with my legs on a chair. But I was glad to keep them in that long, because they were able to come home with me after 3 days, no time in the NICU. They are 15 months now and going strong!

Still going strong at 35 weeks. I reach 36 on Sunday! Babies are growing as if it were a singleton pregnancy. I was 13 weeks pregnant when I got the news it was twins. I was wondering I was showing so early.

38 weeks and 1 day. My doc was going out of town so at my appt. i begged him to get them out!! We induced at 1 pm, I had them at 10:37 and 10:52 pm, easiest delivery ever ;)

Looks like its gonna end up bein 32w3d or 4d depending on whether they take me today or tomorrow. Babies at 4lb6oz and 4lb14, so after this second round of steroids at 5pm today we'll see. Baby A has been transverse this whole pregnancy, if she doesnt turn around right now she's sooo grounded

edit:

Contractions stopped, so they decided against taking them this time. Next time I go into labor they're gonna go for it. I was really hoping that they would have taken em this weekend 'cause it was me and my husbands first wedding anniversary. Oh well, maybe they'll show up for Fathers Day.

38wks and 1 day!!! I can't lie...after 28 weeks my body was screaming for help!! LOL It was really tough but my doctors kept stressing for me to keep them in as long as possible to avoid them having to stay in the NICU. I am so glad I had patience and determination because my girls were born weighing 7lbs14oz and 6lbs12oz

Ya we were hopeing on a vbac cuz my first daughter ended up having to be emergency c section but baby b (Ella) was breach and we didn't want to try and have vaginal and c section too. Plus my body dosent go into labor..so at 39 weeks we got them out of there. Noah was 8lb 6 oz and Ella was 6lb 2oz,both very big and healthy,no need for nicu, everyone was making such a big deal about how big they were and not in nicu, and that I kept them in there for so long lol.... I think me having a tilted uterus might have helped, lol

36 weeks. No medical problems for me but the last 8 weeks were really hard since everything hurted and I was having problems walking. Also the girls were running out of room. I had a c-section and they didn't spent any time in NICU :)

30weeks. It was super hard. I was on bed rest since about 14 weeks at home and went into the hospital for the last month or so. Thinning cervix and was told I was "too short" to carry twins full term,

I made it to week 34! (However, I was in the hospital a few times with preterm labor between 30-34 weeks :/)

[deleted account]

Exactly 36 weeks.Baby A's waters broke. My doc likes to play it safe and automatically puts anyone with a twin pregnancy on bed rest at 28 weeks. At week 34 I developed preeclampsia. luckily I made the 36 weeks without any further complications.

35 weeks 4 days, Vaginal delivery, water broke on it's own. Was on bedrest at 32 weeks due to the fact that I was 5 cm dialted. Worked up to the day they put me on besrest, had a great and somewhat easy pregnancy :)

32w1d. It was hard. I can't imagine going any longer, I was ready to get them out. I had PROM so I had no choice but to deliver.

[deleted account]

I was induced at 37 weeks.

I was on bedrest from 24-36 weeks though. Constant contractions, massive edema.... quite rough on my TINY body.

I only made it 28 weeks to the day. It was very hard just to make it that far. I knew from week 7 that I was pregnant and that it was twins. I had placenta previa and a thinning cervix from almost the beginning. I was on bed rest from around week 12 and strict hospital bed rest at week 18. It was a nightmare. But never once did I feel that the girls' wouldn't be ok. I don't know whether I was just blocking it all out so that I could cope or whether I truly thought that God wouldn't give me more than I could handle.

You would never know now that they were born at 28 weeks and only weighed 2lbs. 5oz.

37 weeks no problems they just don't like to let you go past 36 weeks here as cplications and the chances of still born increases dramatically. I didn't have any troubles carrying them. I was 14 weeks pregnant before I found out I was pregnant.
