My boys were born naturally 5 minutes apart. We were afraid they were going to born on different days because it was getting really close to midnight.

Well I hate to say it I know you are freaked out but that can happen. I had twins but they were c-section so they are only a minute apart. I have heard of them even being a day apart. It will all work out I am sure of that

TARA HUDSEN :TAKE DRUGS!!!! If god did not intend for you to take drugs, then Man would not have invented them. If the women of yesterday coulda had an epidural...I think they would have!!!

No offence to you Sarah, I just don't agree with women making themselves suffer...for no reason!!!!

im am only 17 with one child and i did it all with no drugs at all whatsoever was not given the choose of drugs but even if i was i still would not of taken them it was a barable pain because its all worth while in the end and wasnt thinking of the pain only the outcome of my little angel that was born at 29 weeks

My Son was born at 9:56pm and my Daughter at 10:03pm (7 minutes apart). Mine was a natural birth. After my son was born, all my contractions stopped--I think my daughter wanted to stay for awhile longer in all that newly found space inside. The doctor had to break her water, and reach for her--feet first--the second is usually breeach.

I went inot labor at a festival, i was supposed to be off my feet as much as possible. But i was ready to have them and start being a mom (also stop the all the peeing at the crack of dawn) My twins was born 1 min apart but i had to have a c-section. Cause my son decided to stay laying across my belly right under my ribs for the entire pregnacy. My daughter was 4 lb 9 oz and my son was 5 lb 12 oz.

My boys were both over 6 lbs. and born via c-section. They were 4 minutes apart because the second baby was very high and they had to work to get him down.

My twins were almost an hour apart. They were 8 weeks early. The first came out head first and the second was breach. The doctor wanted to see if he would turn around and they might have done an emergency C-section, but then he started coming out feet first.

Mine were born naturally 12 minutes apart. My doctor did have to stick his hand up as twin #2 was sideways; then he came out butt first. They were 11 weeks early and were 2 lbs 4 oz and 2lbs 9 oz so it didn't hurt!!!

My twins were born 34 mins. apart. I had them vaginally. The second one just didn't seem ready to come out. My contractions slowed down a lot so they had to give me some meds to help them start up again. The doctors also worked together to try to push the second one down towards the birth canal. There was so much going on that I didn't realize that 34 mins. had gone by!

Mine were 4 minutes apart. They could have been a little closer but when the doctor told me to push for the second one, I argued that I didn't feel like I was having a contraction so it wasn't time. He insisted that I do it anyway because according to the monitor, I WAS having one! Anyway, I finally cooperated and Susan arrived.

No way, that is very very rare. First of all, many people deliver twins by C's today. And for those who are able to do V births, no doctor would allow a twin delivery to go on for that long in between babies b/c of the infection risks. My girls were about 15 minutes apart, over midnight, so they have different DOBs.

Im 21 years old and I had my twins 50minutes apart my little boy Cooper and my little girl Charlee and one either side of midnight... Cooper was born 5th of August 2009 at 11.20pm weighing 6pounds and Charlee was born 6th of August 2009 at 12.10 weighing 5 pound 2 ounces..... i had them naturally thats y it took so long.... When cooper came charlee turned and followed but didnt come all the way down so i spent most of the 50mins pushing her down then it was over in like 1minute and she was here.... they are now 5 and a half months old and doing great... Cooper is now 20pounds and Charlee is about 14 pounds.... I was going to have a c-section but once i seen the girls coming in and out of there after c-sections i decided to have a go naturally and thank god it worked in my favour....

On paper, they are a minute apart. They are actually 37 seconds apart. I had to have a c-section because one was upside down and the other one was sideways.

two minutes- just long enough to grab one out and then the other - both were breach at 32 weeks and the children's hospital docs said no way they'd even try a vaginal birth.

Mine were born 14 minutes apart! The first one took 30 minutes to come out, then the doctor had to maneuver the second baby into position, and she came out 14 minutes later. My doctor told me a few weeks before my delivery that she had just delivered twins a few hours apart. She said that one had come, then the cervix closed a bit and her contractions slowed, so they let her rest and enjoy the first baby, then later she delivered the second. And...that happened over midnight, so they had different dates of birth. Crazy. She told me that this was really rare, but is freaked me out too! I think if the second baby is happy and not in distress they allow the body to take its time. Weird, but it makes sense, I guess.

charlotte, i was told epidural was a must for exactly that reason. dr's said sometimes they need to retrieve twin 2 that way and here in australia they feel epidural is the more desirable way for that to happen if need be.

10 minutes apart. They had to get my son (Baby B) out quick, as he had no heartbeat, so they kinda reached up there and grabbed him by the head.

my identical twin girls were born 42mins apart. after my first twin was born the second moved high up under my ribs and was in no hurry to be born. this was of great concern as my second twin was in distress. my girls had what is known as twin to twin tranfusion before their birth with twin two losing alot of her blood to her sister. as a result of this i had one baby who was beetroot red and one who was white as white can be until they were about 4 months old. twins born via normal vaginal birth tend to take some time between each other. you have to understand that once the first is born the second needs to (often with assistance) move into position. basically you do the main part of the labour twice.

My girls were 19 minutes apart. They are fraternal and Baby A's water broke, but Baby B's didn't. After A was born, my doctor said that B's water didn't break and she didn't drop so she wasn't ready and he wasn't going to rupture her water. At first, I thought he meant just for a little while - then as we kept talking, I realized that he meant it could be hours, days and even WEEKS because he didn't want to rupture the water if she wasn't ready yet. Talk about freaking out - well, Baby B must have heard the conversation and realized how stressed I was getting because within minutes of the conversation, she completely dropped and the doctor broke her water. Thank goodness! I have twin brothers and my mom also delivered naturally and they were 3 minutes apart.
