My g/g twins were not premature at all. I was scheduled for a c-section at 38 weeks, but my water broke the night before so they were 37 weeks 6 days. Neither needed and NICU. One weighed 7lbs. 7oz and the other 5lbs. 12oz.

Both my doctor and the specialist I was seeing had me convinced that I'd be delivering early. They all thought it would be amazing if I could make it past 35 weeks. So much for that! I made it to 38 weeks and 1 day and finally had to be induced because it was just too much! My sister-in-law is a chiropractor and I saw her regularly through the pregnancy, so I blame her :). Totally worth it though! Both boys came out 5 lbs. 9 oz.

My fraternal girls were born at 27 weeks 3 days. 2 lbs 3 oz each. 2 months and 3 months in the NICU. A very scary time, but they couldn't be happier, healthier or smarter today. Good luck to you!!

Not too bad I was delivered at 37 1/2 weeks because of slight case of IUGR. But my boys were ready. Zach was 6lbs 5oz and James was 5lbs 9oz and no NICU time. Got to room in with me and everything.

I went till 38 and a half weeks, and then was induced, I think they would have stayed in till Kindergarten if I'd let them, so... not premature for mine lol
