My twins shared the same crib until they were 6 months. Then they were getting to big to be together and they were rolling onto each other when waking up. When I did put them in different cribs though I put the beds together like a "L" that way they were still close and could touch if they wanted to.

Mine shared a crib for little while until they spent too much time on cuddled up on each other ( it made me nervous) so I put them in separate cribs - in the same room. Yes sometimes they will wake each other us - mine still do at 18months but it isn't often.

My girls were in the same bed for a little while and the only ready I put them in separate cribs is because they would gravitate to each other and I was worried safety wise. They are nos 18months and have always shared a room (I like them to be close and know they are not alone and they entertain each other ) the only issue with that is occasionally wehn one wakes up and it really upset ( for seemingly no reason I can pinpoint) it will wake the other. Again - this isn't often.

My boys slept in the same crib at night/pack and play during the day for the longest. They are almost 16 months now and are in the same room, separate cribs. They entertain themselves. When one wakes up crying the other one either stays sleep or wake sup and babbles to the other one. I love it!

I never put mine in the same crib. They always were in their own crib in the same room. I thought it was a good idea to get them use to being in there along and see them as an individual rather than 1. I also did not want to risk any rolling on top of one another since that can be dangerous.

My boys are two now and we tried separating them once when they where big enough to go to toddler beds. I believe we got less sleep then than when we first brought them home. So we ended up giving the toddler bed away and moving them into a full sized bed using their convertible crib! In my opinion they need eachother and don't like it when they are separated even the tinyest bit

My boys never woke each other up and they only got their own rooms 2 yrs ago. The advantage of twins being in the same room/crib during the early years is you only have to go to one room when your so tired that your on autopilot.

Most twins do have a bond, but I wanted to keep them somewhat separated to encourage individuality. I don't want them to be entirely dependant on each other. They are twins, but still different people.

My girls slept together in the same crib until they could roll over so maybe 3-4 months old. I always thought it was a good for them to sleep together. They would always turn so that their faces were together at night. It was precious. :-) Usually twins don't wake each other up though. Mine didn't and I've read that it isn't common.

If it works, do it. My twin boys co slept till they couldn't fit together. They are 3 now and still have there beds pushed up next to each other and they sleep through each other at night. Happy days :)

I had my twins sleeping in the same crib until 11 months old. I never had a problem with one waking up the other one. I bought a second crib after I came back from a long trip back home. I always notice that one of them is looking for the other one. They have an amazing bond. They are now 15 months old and sometimes if I travel, I have them sleeping next to the other in a big pack n play.

Its personal preference, but our pediatrician recommended separating them once they start rolling to avoid anyone getting hurt. We separated ours around 3-4 months.

I'm a big proponent of what ever works. If it's working, then I wouldn't mess with it.
