I have 21 month old twins and we are thinking of having another baby next year. we will be planning for new baby to be born around the time the twins will turn 3 (tho we do know that this cant be planned exactly) does anyone one have 3 yr old twins and a new baby? do you find it a struggle and how did your twins cope with a new baby? any stories would be much appreciated!!!

My twins were 4 when my youngest were born. It was really easy. At 3 my twins began to become easy. It was no longer the same juggling act. Each year after 3 became easier and easier. My twins are now 8, and they are actually easier than singletons because they entertain each other.

I have 3 yr old twin girls and a 6 yr old son.
We have found that 3 is def harder then 2.
My son spent a couple weeks with his grandparents and we were amazed how much easier it was with just the twins.

Hi, No they are very good! Obviously not perfect tho, they get moany around dinner time so cooking can be stressful. And i have still not managed to get them to sleep through the night. They take it in turns to wake up and need a bottle of water to settle them again. People always say when they see iv got twins "oh bless you they must be hard work" but to be honest i have always thought they have been easier than i thought they would be, but they are my first i dont know any different.
My worry is that one of them is very clingy she will rarely play in a room without me being in it!! Not sure how she will cope if im trying to breast feed a new baby or ( fingers crossed its not) 2 babies! ;)
