Maternity Clothes

I'm a little over 5 months pregnant with twins. I've been to a few maternity clothing stores and have basically got the same response each time, that maternity clothes are a pain for women carrying twins to buy. Which I have already experienced a bit. I bought some maternity clothes late July and the pants still fit, my waistline hasn't really changed too much, but the t-shirt I bought is way too small now. And my husbands tshirts are even beginning to become uncomfortable. Does anyone have any advice on this? I'm not going to spend $100's on clothes that are only going to fit me for a month that is just wasteful!

Most of my Motherhood Maternity clothes fit through my entire pregnancy, but they were pretty expensive, luckily my awesome MIL foot the bill. Try checking your local Goodwill for maternity clothes. I know its getting colder, but maxi dresses were a lifesaver for me especially near the end, I hated the thought of putting on pants! You can try putting a sweater over it for some extra warmth. Hang in there!

I have found that the Liz Lange line of maternity clothes fit the best when I was pregnant with my twins...and really affordable from Target! They seemed to have more stretch to them, and were a lot more fashionable. You can also look on eBay for "lots" of maternity clothing for much less than you would pay in the store.
Good luck!

I found that some of my empire waist non-maternity clothes fit better than most maternity tops I found. In regards to pants, I was most comfortable in below the belly pants and yoga type pants that has lots of stretch

I agree with Ianina, Motherhood Maternity! I bought most of my clothes there when I was pregnant 4 years ago and now I'm pregnant with twins and most of my clothes came from there this time as well!
