Hi! I'm just curious, how many moms out there have more than one set of twins? And, if you don't mind answering, how was each set conceived? Did you need any assistance, and if so, what kind? My husband and I have just started trying for another baby, and we're both a little nervous that we might be blessed with another set of twins. I'd really love to hear your stories!

My mum has been deceased for a number of years. Mum had 2 sets of twins in 22 months. The first set of twins (2 boys) will be 81years old in a few months time. The other set (1 boy 1 girl) have just turned 79 years. There were no other children. I am wondering whether we are the oldest 2 set twins in Australia? And would love to hear any comments.

It's more likely with fraternal; identical is a fluke of nature and is unlikely to occur again. Because fraternal results from your body kicking out two eggs at the same time, the likelihood of it occuring again is higher. Also, the odds increase with age for fraternals as well.

any one know the exact chances of havin a second set of fraternal twins? would like another child in few years but so scared of having twins again! i have a 3 year old singleton and 9 mnth old fraternal twin girls!

i have 2 sets of twins the older ones will be six in a few months and the younger ones turned 2 last week it is very rare for people to have more than one set naturally unless they release 2 eggs all the time like i do yes both sets were natural.my first set were boy/ girl the second set were non identical girls

I have 2 1/2 year old twins and am 10 weeks pregnant with another set of twins. My first set was fraternal; this set is "probably" fraternal, but it's too soon to tell for certain. I was told it was a 1:10,000 chance. I'd love to say we are thrilled, but we are really still reeling from the news and trying to adjust. It's not what either my husband or I wanted, but what can you do?

no ive got a 3 year old and 9 mnth old non identical twin girls and i am terrified to have another just incase its twins again i dont think i could cope with 5!lol!
