Hey I agree, sometimes things can get a little crazy :) I have 6 children 13 yrs, 9 yrs, 6 yrs, 3 yrs, and 9 month twins. I cant even remember the last time I was bored! the same for my children - they're never bored either! My key piece of advice is a schedule everything and anything!!! Besides helping the household run smoothly, it teaches the kids valuable lessons

do you have any suggestions for a mom with 2 1/2 year old twins who run rampant through my house. I try time outs super nanny style, but some days I feel like all I do is discipline and I'm worn out from it!

I agree with you... Of course there are a lot of work to but so wonderful to have them all around because you never know what´s going to happen.

I have a daughter from earlier relationship who is 7 years. My husband have a daughter who is 18 years and a son who is 3 years old from earlier relationship. Together we have four sons, one who turns 2 in january and three boys who are 9 months. I can only imagine what´s going to happen when everybody walks and talk :-).

Well I am glad to know that I am not alone. I have a 7 year old son, 5 year old daughther and 2 year old twins (boy & girl), and my house can be crazy. It just seems like when one starts crying they all start whining and only want mommy. I really don't know how you guys do it with more then 4. Some days I feel like I could lose my mind, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I know I will look back on these days some year and laugh.

I find it almost impossible to shop with my 21 month twin old boys. They only last about ten minutes then they want to run loose. So I usually go to the store on my own. It's easier that way!!!!

In reality I like to shop in the middles of the night when no kids come. My girls are two almost three now, so I get the carts that have the extended two seat thingy and shop. Most grocery store bakeries give free cookies here, so we get the produce first, then bakery and they get to eat a cookie and are pretty much behaved.

Nicole, as far as shopping goes, I put one twin in the front pack and the other in the cart. That way there's room for groceries and I have both hands free.

I too have 6 kids, one of which is a stepdaughter. My twins are boy/girl and they are 6 months old. How in the world do you shop? I just cannot get used to two carriers and trying to go into doors by myself... even a trip to the doctors office is an ordeal. Does it get any better?

im up here with you gals i have 2yr old twins (girl/boy) 13yr old daughter, 8yr old boy, 5yr old boy gotta agree lifes never boring! one of my twins (girl) was born with cleft pallet, dysformic features (looks like a down syndrome), she can not talk so we teaching her "Mr Tumble" language, and her hearing is very poor so lots of stress but wouldn't change it for the world her twin brother is totally the opposite in fact he's 6 months ahead of his age, im loving every minute and would do it all again!

Just hang in there it kinda gets better with age, my twins are 8 years old, plus I have a step daughter who is only 1 year older then my twins age 9 and my 12 year old son.

Its hard until around age 5 then it lightens up some, being a mom is not easy.
