My twins(boy and girl) are 5 and they fight nonstop.

My son is mean to his sister, they are not like other twins. I feel bad because his sister is so loving and giving and dedicated to him, but he would rather be an only child. I don't understand why they are not close like other twins. Is it because they are boy and girl. I wish they would just get along. Anybody else experience this?

I also have boy/girl twins and they have been fighting since the womb also lol:) when they were younger they got into physical fights now they are 11 and they just argue non stop. I think its a twin thing and your son might be asserting his independence? sometimes they don't want to be twins but mine are still close even thought they fight:) just cuz they don't get along doesn't mean they are not still close. Mine went through that stage around 4 /5 yrs probely because they are noticing how different they are now

my twin girls fight all the time. They will be 15 this May and they have fought since in the womb (LOL) I have asked myself the same question that you are are asking. Why arent they close like other twins. I just keep telling myself they will get closer as they get older. I sure hope so they are the only two I have. thanks Misty

My twins boy/girl got along just fine untill they turned 3 then they started fighting only my daughter is the one to instigate it. Im not sure if its a boy/girl twin thing, i have 5 children and they all fight with each other at different times. My twins are 10 this year and to this day still fight with each other... I think its just a sibling thing... :)
