my twins at the min are sleeping in their car seats (the one that comes with pram) i have tried lying them in their cots on their sides belly and backs but they refuse to sleep. they were in hospital for a month and the nurses had they sleeping at a slant. i tried that too and no go. they are in car seats every night and i still havent slept in my bed. anyine got tips pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

here's just a couple of thoughts: how old are they?

--are you swaddling them? a good tight swaddle usualy knocked both my guys out when they were little & they'd sleep, & then i could sleep which was so needed!!

--can you let them fall asleep in their car seats & then transfer them to their crib(s) or bassinets once they're sleeping?

--will they sleep on the floor on a clean flat blanket in a safe spot? if it's clean & safe & they are not rolling over yet, that might be an option?

--are they gassy? do they seem to have sour stomachs? if they do, being flat on their backs will be bothersome to most babies, have you tried gripe water? & lots of burping during & after feedings?

--what about another aparatus that's not as confining as a carseat, but similar like a swing, or bouncy chair, or even a highchair that tilts back & has a seat belt for safety?



i didn't sleep in my bed until my twins were almost 3 months old



remember: this too shall pass! :) they won't sleep in their car seats forever, i promise!
