I'm 33wks pregnant with fraternal twins and am hoping for a natural delivery so I am curious about how long it will take between twin 1 and twin 2, how long was your wait between babies?

Both were head down when we went in, my Dr was concerned that once A was delivered that B would flip with all of her new found room... by the time the lady had the ultrasound machine on my belly checking for baby B's position ,she was already on her way out-- 4 minutes I have both babies! Twin A 7:33pm and Twin B 7:37 pm

my now 5mo frat girls were induced at 38wks, Tw A born at 948pm and Tw B 1017pm so 29min apart. Natural birth but assisted with ventouse (vacuum) extraction. had epidural but it didnt work and ended up with 2nd degree tear that was stiched up. Good luck to all expectant mummies and well done to all current twin mummies!

My girls were 5 minutes apart. I had an all natural labor and delivery! It was wonderful!!!
It is hospital procedure to administer an epidural to all mothers delivering multiples... you MUST have detailed in your birth plan that you do not want this.
After 24 hours of labor, my OB insisted we break the water to complete dialation. So right after baby A was out he broke baby B's water as well.

My twins were born at 36 weeks and were 3 hours apart and no pain relief. Was very proud of myself . 2nd twin was born just before midnight so she just made it on the same day . I have never heard of twins being born this far apart so was just wondering what happened to me ?

Twin 2 had to get turned, so after that ordeal, they ended up being and hr and a half apart! Still the best delivery (er, deliveries) I've had! No meds either! =)

I was 2cm dilated a week before my water was broken. Dr broke my water at 830pm, checked at 7cm asked for an epideral, dr came 10 min later I was already 9.5. Delivered my boys naturally at 36weeks4 and 4 day 10min apart, 12:10 and 12:22am... Less then 4 hours for it all.. Now if I have more will it be that easy?? :)

Good luck you will be great

I wish I could have been as lucky as all of you!! After 10 hours labor and two of pushing, I had to have a c-section because my son just would not come out!! He and his sister ended being 1 minute apart thanks to the cesarean, but I wanted a vaginal delivery so badly since they were both presenting head down throughout my pregnancy!!

9 minutes apart. The second one was breech, and they had to find him, grab a foot, and yank him out! No kidding, just like that!

My boys were born at 35 weeks and 2 days. They were born 10 min. apart and were 5.6 lbs (born first) and 5.9 lbs. Both were healthy and came home with us 2 days later. Good luck!

Mine were 40 minutes apart which is quite a long time apparently. My first was in an awful hurry and was almost born in an ambulance. The second was not wanting to come out at all and they had to break her sac and force my contractions.

My twins were born vaginally 12 minutes apart at 33 weeks. I wasn't really all that exhausted and only pushed for about an hour or so. The second baby came out really easy with just one big push.

i delivered my twins on may 17th. had them naturally. first one came after 25 hours of labor at 11:23 am and the second came almost 2 hours later at 1:17pm .. after i delivered the first baby my contractions completely stopped so i nursed the first baby and also had my pitocin kicked up and after about an hour began to contract regularly. they couldnt break the fluid bag on the second one cause he was too high up so we had to wait a while.. was so worth having a vaginal birth over a csection though.. Good luck on your delivery... get as much rest before they come though cause your soooo going to need it.

My son (twin A) and daughter (twin B) were born 10 minutes apart, and I delivered naturally just before 37 weeks. I think that there would have been a little more time in between, but Lily's heart rate started to drop a little, so my doc and his team sped things along a little, and eventually had to use forceps to help her out . My labor only lasted about 10 hours in total, and the little ones were 5lbs 10 and 5lbs 5 at birth, so overall everything went great. Good luck to you!

I was induced at 38 weeks. My labor was 5 1/2 hours long. I did have an epidural and delivered them both vaginally 4 minutes apart. It took some pushing and with an episiotomy (yuck and ouch) pushed baby A out. He was 5lb 12oz. The Dr. broke the sac baby B was in and with the next contraction and a nurse pushing on my belly (so he wouldn't flip upside down) baby B was born at 6lb 10 oz. Both boys were very healthy, no hospital stay, and now they're about to turn eleven!!! Crazy how time flies!

Mine were 19 minutes apart. Doc was planning on a c-section the following morning (Baby A's water broke) but she had other plans...she was born a few hours later. Doc said Baby B wasn't "ready" yet since she didn't drop and her water didn't break - of course I was freaking out since he said it could even be weeks (they were born at 32 weeks). She must have heard that conversation and said she wasn't going to be left there without her sister LOL because within a few minutes, she dropped - thank goodness!

5 minutes. Twin A was literally kicked out by Twin B, and I was so numb because my epidural was only 30 minutes old they used the suction on. I was told there was a possibility I would need a c-section with Twin B, because she was still flip flopping on me, so about 9:30 I went ahead and got my epidural because I knew it wasn't going to be long. They were born at 10:06 and 10:11. I was induced at 38 weeks.

Mine was 13 minutes natural full term. And that was with my son sleep and breech laying across the top of my belly. And today 10 years later he still will let his sister all the work. lol

Beth you are a better woman than I am!!! lol That was a lot of work for me. But my labor was still half as long as my sisters was with a singleton. So I think I did pretty well for my first time around! lol

My first was born at 940am and the second at 1030am. People are usually surprised when I tell them that. After the first was born the doctor had to break the second bag of water and wait for him to drop. I was exhausted, so instead of pushing right away I just asked to have a break..lol. But once I started pushing with number 2, it only took a few minutes and he was delivered.
