One cuddly, other not so much

I have fraternal twin girls about 33mnths old. And it's d same as urs, one is very cuddly and other one is independent. Can't say the other one isn't cuddly at all, as she wud give hugs n kisses if I get her fav Dora show on or make her wear a pretty dress!! But the first one is more sensitive, emotional n expressive abt her feelings. She loves to just make me put my head on her lap n caress hair,or sit cheek to cheek hugging for long times...but I feel though we have twins they r different personalities in all

Thats just it, I DO have them fight over me, thats why I had to break up the time I spend with them, not as a group all the time, but make special alone time with each one by themselves. It has kept the peace in our house by doing this.
Twins are so funny, are you potty training your twins now? That was a tough one too, but we did one on the potty and the other on a potty chair and rewarded with skittles for just sitting on the potty.

My girls were the exact same way. they are now 2 1/2 yr old. Now I cant get them off of me. Where ever I go they follow, they even figh over who get held. just be glad you dnt have to break up fight over who get hugs a kisses first.

My girls are 7 now...but when they were little they both wanted me at the same time and they are both cuddlers. The first 4 months was complete hell on me, it took that long to get them on a schedule. Faith had a high pitch premee cry that grated my nerves and she would always get served first and then Grace would chime in with her cry while I was in the middle of changing Faiths diaper so then I would lay Faith down and very quickly change Grace and then carry both of them in my arms into the living room to feed them both at the same time, one in each arm. I would burp one on my shoulder and the other across my knees then cuddle them both in my arms in our big comfy rocker recliner. They still to this day cuddle with me in the comfy chair or in bed. they are the same way with their dad too, even though we are no longer together. But they both need their own alone time with the each of us, they dont like sharing all their time with both of them in the vicinity of each other. So I take one grocery shopping, and then take the other to run other errands or watch a movie in bed.

Yes, That describes my boys perfectly. Twin A would cuddle and rock for hours at that age. Twin B would ask for the same treatment but want to be put down after a few minutes. They are 11 years old now and are still much the same. Twin A still wants lots of physical contact and Twin B wants it only on his terms. It has helped my husband and I support the different personalities and help the boys recognize themselves as separate people instead of just a part of a set.

Yep, fraternal girls, 13 motnhs old. One was always a cuddler, the other one not so much. She recently started to hug more and sit with us

Yup. My fraternal twin boys are the same way. One is my cuddler. He likes to sit on my lap and cuddle. My other one, not so much.
