Pink eye???

so my 5 month old boy got a little gummy eye yesterday, and throughout the day today it has progressively become pink on the lid n his cheek beneath the eye. but his eye is still white. he doesn't seem out of the ordinary in pain (hes also teething) its hurts when you touch it. but light doesn't seem to affect it. does this seem like pink eye or an allergic reaction or what?

It sounds just like my what my girls had...It was a form of pink eye. Theres eye just got gunky. One had an ear infection and pink eye she was given and antibiotic and the other with just pink eye got special eye drops. What also works GREAT if you are nursing to put drops of breast milk in there eyes as often as possible! Call your pediatrician to make sure though.
