positive preggo test but taken 6 days early, could it be true?

Hi! This is the most active group I am part of so I thought I would ask this here in hopes of a quicker response. I was a little anxious and jumped the gun! I am not due to start my period until NEXT Wednesday (so 6 days from now) but I am a bit anxious. I already have 3 year old twins and an almost 2 year old and my husband and I decided to go ahead and go for baby #4 (and last baby) and this is the first month we tried. I am really anxious to get pregnant so I went ahead and bought some EPT tests. Well, I wasn't planning to take one until Sunday but, of course, with hubby at work and nobody to convince me otherwise, I went ahead and took one this afternoon and there was a faint but definitely there positive!!! Could it be false since I took it so soon? Don't wanna get my hopes up bc I know it should have been too early to read. HELP! :)

Thanks! I did as you said and now have a total of 3 positive tests all taken on different days so just got my prenatal care set up! So excited!

Nope, a positive pregnancy test is always positive. Wait a few more days and take another one or go for a blood test
