ive been trying to potty train my girls but everything i try isn't working they will be 3 net month and starting preschool soon and i need to get them trained before they go there full time. ive tried sitting them on potty's but they both just sit there crying and screaming i bought a seat for the toilet and they are the same on there. i asked my health visitor and she said leave them run around naked and praise them if they do anything but tieghan doesn't like being naked so i tried just putting pants on them but if they even get slightly wet the scream like they are being hurt. they don't talk a lot ether so when i ask im lucky if i get an answer. has anyone got any advise please or any idea of where i may be going wrong there my first and im just finding it so hard

I also have twin girls aged 3 years in augest and I really feel for as it is very hard . I never thought I would get through but in the end with lots of praise and encouragement it just clicked ! My advice to you is stay carm and try doing one at a time rather then trying to them together . I did sticker charts which i found really helped me and everytime they didnt have accident i gave them a sticker and made a big thing of it . when they do have accident dont go on about too much just make the point that they should try and and do it in the toilet next time . Try making it a fun exprience mine love reading books on the potty and that made them more relexed . Accidents do happen and its good if they dont like the feeling of being wet it encourage them more to do it !! I think with this cold weather it is hard to let run naked i personally would just put them in loose clothing and just be prepared that you are going to have extra washing but thats all part of the course ! . To end off just make it a good exprience and try and stay carm and dont stress to much beacuse the kids will feel that and it will make things whole lot harder . Good luck !1

dont panic they may just not ne ready my 1st child wasn't potty trained till he was 2 and a half and we never had a simgle accident my 2nd was younger and not ready and we had loads of accidents now my twons are 1 and half and i shall be taking the lead from them as to when they are ready I think you can stretch the process out too long and stress yourself out too much by worrying about it they will het there.!! Just take your time and dont force them you can do more damage than good. Good luck xx

My boys are 3, turning 4 in November. We used Potty Skittles. Basically we had a jar or skittles in the bathroom. When they did #1 they got 2 skittles. For #2 they got 4 skittles and 1 skittle if they would just sit on the potty. It took them a couple of days to get the hang of it. Now one is completely trained and the other is still working the the pooping in the potty. We've almost got it.

I'm trying to do the same thing with my girls. They are 17 months old, and just play with the potty. They tell me "pee pee" though if they already peed, so it's a work in progress!! lol!!

My girls were 3 in August and have been potty trained for about 6 months now. We trained them in 4 days flat by using the Potty Boot Camp. Just Google it. Seriously, it works a treat. You will need someone there to help you and be glued to your children's side for the entire time, but it is so worth it. We tried other methods but this is the only one that worked. I'm still stunned that it only took 4 days (apart from the one who won't poo on the potty, but she's getting there). Let us know how you get on x
