Potty training twin boys

I am currently potty training my 2 year old twin boys. They are fantastic while they are half naked, but as soon as i put them in trousers they don't go anywhere near the potty! What am i doing wrong?!?! Anyone got any ideas?? Thanks

I am having the same problem my twin boys will not pull down their pants, they will sit on the potty, one will even go as far as getting toliet paper wiping himself and flushing the adult toliet, but they both refuse to pull down their pants before sitting on the potty, and they will tantrum if we place them on the potty with no pants or diaper on.  My physician said to also wait until summer and let them run around naked and try it that way.

Pull up pants are great - don't worry too much about clothes in the 1st few weeks, the important thing is getting on the potty and doing something. Not sure if you're in the UK, but if you are I would wait for wamer weather before trying to train them as you can put them in shorts, trousers can be a bit fiddly especially if you are trying to get them to the potty every hour/ 2 hours.
