hi katrina i have two sets of twins what i found out after the first set it was a breeze with the second set. i knew how to handle them better the second time around just take a deep breath and dont worry it will be fine.

I have a 16yo step son, 14 and 9 yrear old daughters and 2year old twin girls. They all want me to have another so they can get a brother!! HAHA...apart from already having enough kids I am petrified that not only will it be twins again but they will be girls...not that I personally care if they are girls but I dont want to deal with everyone elses disappointment of girls....

I have 2 sets of twins. All boys. Ages 8 and 4. I have absolutely LOVED being a mother of twins and think I would go completely INSANE if I were to have only 1 child. I cant imagine it any other way. As a matter of fact I am hoping my next pregnancy will be twins as well.

My friend had twin girls, identical and was pregnant on their first birthday with unidentical twin boys. Her two sets are 18 months apart.

Katrina, I'm in almost the same boat. I have a 6 yr old, a 5 yr old, a 2.5 yr old and 20 month old twins and just found out I'm 8 weeks pregnant. I'm TERRIFIED to be pregnant again especially since it could be twins again. I'm 36 and because I've had so many kids (and a set of twins) my chances are (apparently) really high. Good luck to you! Hi Katina, I had fraternal twins, they are 9 ys old now and i am 10 weeks pregnant! I have been so convinced that its twins but i had to have a scan last Thursday and it is just 1! Good luck to you x

I only have one set of twins, but I was told that if I try for anymore kids, that my chances of having another set of twins is greater due to the fact that I already have a set of twins. I don't think it always happen, but the chance is there. Good luck on the 21st.

well i don't but my cousin by marriage mother I 3 set of b/g twin, so if that is any confirmation but it don't have to be twins or triplets if could just be one the final verdict is by GOD.

Are your twins identical or fraternal? If identical, then there is no increase in your odds. If they are fraternal, then the odds are slightly higher. I am pregnant with my second set of fraternal twins. Like you, I also said there was no way we would have another set of twins and it certainly wasn't what we wanted. On a positive note, you don't comment about feeling particularly miserable with this pregnancy; I did with this pregnancy and had no doubt it was twins before the first ultrasound because I felt SO terrible.

Yup, I have a 14 daughter and 10 year old twins, and a 9 year old. I was never aware of the chances of having twins in the future. Two years ago I gave birth to my sons, so I don't know if that is any help to you.

I have b/b twins and it terrifies me to even think about another set when we decide to have another baby. I love them dearly and we be happy about another set...but it can be hard! I did hear that once you have twins it ups your chances again...not sure if thats actually true.

My Dr. told me I had a 75% chance of having twins again. I have a 5 year old and g/b 20 month olds. I want another one but am scared to have twins again! Let us know what happens!

My twin boys weren't a year old when I got pregnant with my youngest. I made that ultrasound tech look from all possible angles to make sure there was only a singleton in there! Your *chances* are higher, but that doesn't necessarily mean you *will* have multiples again. Like Penelope said, "Have faith!"

My twins are my last ones cause I have heard after having one set your chances rise at having another. They are g/b they are my 5 & 6th children. I had 3 girls and had to try one more time for a boy ya I got him but he had a little partner with him, so as soon as I found out I was having twins I asked them to tie my tubes. They are now 6 years old, and a whole lot of work.

I only have one set of twins. But, my coworker tried to have a girl after her set of twin boys and got twin boys again lol

yes i have to sets of twins that are 9 years and 6 years and i also have a 14 year old son it is a strong possibilty look at me and i had a miscarage with triplets good luck

i had twins then fell pregnant again with just one, ive never been told that you have a greater chance of falling pregnant with twins again after having twins, like you i got teased alot people sayin i would have twins again but lucky for me that didnt happen!!

I have identical twin girls 20 mos and got pregnant about 8 months after they were born. I was 39 at the time so also petrified! I insisted on an early ultrasound and was relieve to find only a singleton. Have faith!

oh my gosh this scares me! i have a nearly 8 year old son, g/g 3 year old twins and am about 8 weeks pregnant again, oh my gosh i hope its not twins again lol. i love them dearly but gosh it is hard work!

yea there are those out there who have more than one set of twins

im one of them i have had three sets lol one b/b one g/b then another b/b i have nine children total and am seven months preg with number 10 and im only 27 years old lol

i have found with the more children we have the easyer time doing most thing but others not so much lol i hope you have a blessed pregnancy

Hi there, I have a set of B/G twins that are now 8 and i found out about 7 months ago that i was pregnant... Everyone joked that i would have twins again but i just laughed and said that it was impossible... Well that is not entirely true :) I found out that I am pregnant with G/G twins.... oh my luck ... It took me a while to get used to the idea of having twins again because it is a very challenging experience. But now I am the happiest mom in the world, My other twins turned out great and they learn things from each other that they dont get if they were a singleton baby, but you know that :) Good luck with the pregnancy

when i got pregnant with my first son (soon to be 3 in Nov), in his ultra sound, it showed what could have been a sac that didn't hold... so he was almost a twin.... we didn't think we could get pregnant on our own, since we had an IUI and have and behold.. while holding a 5 month old son, we saw we were pregnant with twins... they came early and our oldest and our twins are 11 months apart... when they got the twins out.. i had them tie my tubes, because as much as we love our boys... we were not at a point to handle another set of twins and didn't want to risk it. best of luck

Hi. I have a set of two year old b/g twins and I also have a son who will be three months old on the 12th of this month. Everyone teased me about having twins again my second pregnancy, but it turned out a single. Though with my next pregnancy I have a feeling I'm going to have multiples again.

I don't have more than one set but my youngest children so far are the twins. I have heard of women having more than one set of twins and have talked with one personally-it does happen. I have a 6 year old, a 4 year old and twins that are 2 1/2. I've found that after having the twins I was capable of handling a lot more responsibility than I realized. If you do have another multiples birth your children are now older and might be able to help you out a little. Good luck!
