my girls are almost 9 mos old, born 6 weeks early. the highest we have been on the "chart" is 1 percentile. no worries though. the charts do not adjust for prematurity. if your twins are consistently growing, you shouldn't need to worry. preemies can take 2 years to "catch up". if your pedi isn't worried... then you shouldn't be either. every baby is different... you can't focus too much on curves or average milestones. talk to your pedi if you have any concerns... they know what's best for your twinkles! good luck... enjoy those babies!

37 weeks is considered full term, so they do not adjust for age. The only time they start adjusting for age at all is when there is a minimum 4 week prematurity (usually not until 6 weeks premature at least though), so birth at 36 weeks. So them being that small is an issue that really needs to be discussed with their doctor.

Did you adjust your baby's age when you looked at the charts? Your baby may be 4 months old actual age, but say he was 4 weeks early, you would look at the chart for a 3 month old. A month makes a big difference in a baby. =) I've had 3 preemie's myself. My son was 4 weeks early and my b/g twins were 6 weeks early.
