Recommendations on carseats/strollers

I also had a Snap N Graco and used the Graco SnugRide with it. After that, I bought a Contours Tandem by Kolcraft and a Zooper Tango. I would highly recommend both of them. They both have there pluses and minuses. The Contours is nice because it is narrow (tandem style) and it's great that the kids can face each other or not if I choose. The cart underneath is pretty rooming as well and it's easy to push. The Zooper Tango is really nice because both seats recline to a full bassinet (sweet when the babies are really young!), the shade extend all the way down, it is narrow enough to fit through most doors, both kids can see out, and it includes an insect shade and a rain shield. Plus, it also will hold car seats, but I'm not sure if it holds one or two. Overall, the Zooper is my favorite. The only time I don't use it is when I'm in a big crowd where a side-by-side can be more difficult to navigate. If I was in a city where I didn't need to worry about car seats too often, I would say it would be the only stroller you would need for twins!

We have the snap-n go and LOVE IT! It's so convenient to be able to transfer them from car to stroller without having to get them out of their carseats. Especially when they're sleeping. It folds up compactly and is light too.
They are now 10 months old and heavier, making it hard to turn the snap-n-go because of the tandem style. So we transitioned to the BOB Revolution Duallie. .And we LOVE LOVE it! It pushes SO easily, and turns on a dime, even only using one hand! Folds us compactly too. I HIGHLY recommend it!

We had the Snap and Go and loved it! It was so easy to just get the kids out of the car, strap them, and the stroller itself was very lightweight (I'm 5'2" so I needed something I could manage). We had Graco carseats that we used with the stroller frame until the kids outgrew them. They graduated to a Combi Stroller (side by side) after we stop using the Snap n Go. It folds and it's also lightweight and handles really well; I had no problem with it not fitting through doorways. We even used it during our travel overseas last year, and were able to push it all the way to the door of the plane without any problems.

a double stroller that is side by side is too wide for a lot of doors so I went with the lengthwise version.

whichever one you choose, make sure it is one that you can steer or turn using only one hand. Seems odd, but there have been many a time that I've had to hold one and push the other. The graco duoglider is the one that I bought, but loaded down with car seats and shopping bags, it's very very difficult to turn without two hands. Once mine got bigger and could go directly into the stroller with a full harness, I got a jogging stroller. Turns on a dime!

Another vote for the Graco system. We wanted something affordable that held the carseats when they were little and the Graco has been invaluable on that front. It makes travel so much easier and has pretty good underneath storage.

I had a phil n teds when my girls were little, used a graco carry seat on top with second twin in reclined position (was good until 6ths) when they could sit independently in each seat. But love the look of the icandy pear!!!



We used Britax first class car seats - fixed in the car. As we had a 6yr old too, had to place both seats side by side and Josh use other side in order to use seatbelts easily. I suppose click bases may have been easier!

I have the Baby Trend Double Snap-N-Go and I love it! It folds compactly so it doesn't take up a lot of room in the car. I get tons of complements from people when we're out & about! Mine are 6 months old, so they are still in their infant carriers, so it works well for us! You can use just about any carseat with this stroller frame! It's great!

I bought the graco system when my twins were 7 days old and just stopped using it, there 2 years and 4 months, so that migt be an option for you to consider and my son was 5 when they were born, I had a graco toddler seat for him also. good luck, and i will certainly say a prayer for you and those bundles of joy!

I'm still pregnant but also purchased a shwinn double jogger with swivel front wheel my son(18 months) and neice (24months) love it, I'm sure the twins will as well. Its about half the price of the bob revolution so if your dough is tight then its a great bargain.

we had the baby trend snap and go. its suited our purposes. it was planned for short term use. we had a twin maclaren and put our boys in at 8-10wks. Once they got bigger, we changed to a bob dualie revolution jogger. best by far. maclaren is now only used for travel. as for car seats - graco, then maxi cosi priori. we live in the city, dont drive much and have a 2br flat so everything we looked for was streamline, light weight, and easy to travel with\transport. oh! if you are adventurous and plan to travel, the go-go babyz car seat adapter turns a convertible car seat into a stroller. we love it! we check in the stroller and wheel the kids all around the airport in them. the telescoping handle retracks and can be placed in the overhead.

We use the Out'n'About Twin Double Nipper 360! It's the best buggy/stroller i've come across and our boys are still happy in it at 2 and a half as is their baby sister when she gets a turn! Can easily be pushed one handed and the swivel wheel makes it turn 360 degrees on the spot. It's great and having walked many miles with the boys to get them to sleep at the same time in their first year i can assure you it's durable too!

We used the Graco system and it worked well for us while they were in the carriers and when they learned to sit up by themselves. The tandem stroller is fine for shopping outings (until they are able to kick each other :) ), but for other excursions like vacations, zoo, park, walks around the neighborhood, we LOVE our Schwinn Free Wheeler Double Jogging Stroller with the swivel front wheel. Our third child is 7 months old and we purchased a single schwinn free wheeler for her as well. It is a smooth ride, quite comfortable, has a large canopy to shade them, and it isn't too heavy. Bonus - they both fit in the back of the minivan. A stroller is a very important purchase - you need the right fit for your family so that you can easily get out of the house. It will do wonders for everyone! Good Luck!
