hi ya i am a single mum of 4 2 being twins i done the whole thing by myself with my twins and i know it probably seems really hard right now,but believe me it does get better. my twins are now 10 months od and now crawling about and are into absolutley everything, but i am loving every minute of it. keep ya chin up...like i said it does get easier.xx

Hi Mandi My twins are 10 months old now My situation is a bit different as I didn't have a 3yr old, but I found it much easier to have them out in the world & to be able to get on with loving and looking after my little girls. Being pregnant and having to think about every little thing you do or how to cope sucks! It ended up to be easier than I had thought - you just have to get on with looking after them & have less time to dwell. I think it would've been easier for me to not be on again off again with their dad - then I could really just get on with it without having to think about his needs as well. I was lucky to have 2 very well behaved little bubs (being twins I think they need less 'mum' time as they start to interact with each other & the joy of having the girls cracking up at each other when I'm out of the room is just beautiful) If your 3 yr old is excited about being a big brother, there may be fights & jealousy, but overall thats all about being a kid & the added interaction of a big brother is even more exciting. I hope that the precious, beautiful times outweigh the sleepless nights & you just remember to enjoy your little gifts when you are feeling down :)

I am a single Mom of twins. My twins are 4 years old and quite a handful. One more active than the other. Routine is very helpful!!. One twin (boy) doesn't sleep through the night, that is challenging. Tough but rewarding!!

hey guys i am a single mum to 4 two of them being twins and only 9 an 1/2 months my other 2 children are 5 and 7, i love being a single mum because you get all the rewards. i have been a single mum again since just before i found out i was pregnant with my twin boys. i went through the pregnancy alone and no help from the twins dad, he has nothing to do with them,but i muddle through,my older 2 are great with the boys and are always helping out. i love it. would love to chat with other single mum`s.x

Thanks so much! I have a wonderful family that I know will help me just more heart broken than anything else right now and I am trying to focus on this pregnancy but it is so hard with the anxiety and all to keep it together.

take it a day at a time. it is hard in the beginning but it really does get easier. well not easier but you don't have to worry about feedings every 3 hours! you'll look back and miss it. i did it by myself but i had a wonderful support system. you could join a twins group, or if your town has baby talk that is nice to meet other moms. just keep going take it a day at a time! and good luck! if you want to talk email me!

I'm a single Mom to 16 month old twin boys. Their father left me when I was 7 weeks pregnant. He's never seen them. I love them to death but god being a single mom SUCKS!

i have twin boys that are 4 yrs old and i have been single since i told there father i was prego he has never seen them and neither had his family but my family is great and we love my boys with all our hearts!

i have 6 yr old twin boys and my little girl will be 1 yr old on friday. their dad and i have been off and on for the past 8 yrs. we finally separated for good on good friday. i've been single with the boys many times, but now i'm single with 3 kids now. it is tough, but my church family has really helped. just know that many of us are in the same boat as you are. we're here if you need us and i'll pray for you.

I think this is just the place for u..lol.Just because u r married or in a relationship doesnt really mean THEY help..lol..I was a single mother of twins for 2 1/2 yrs..they r 4 now..so i know the drill..It's hard but one thing is for sure NEVER EVER a dual moment..Just remember one day this will be a thing of the past and weird enough u do end up missing it..

You may want to check the multiples club on the webb. I knox in my are our twins club merged to become the mothers of multiples. Good luck dear. I will say a prayer for you.
