I just found out that we are having twins!!! I am so excited and overwhelmed all at the same time. I am 24 and this is my 2nd pregnancy. I have a 3 year old and I thought this time around I would know what to expect and have everything down to a science.... Finding out we are having twins is like starting all over again.. this is a whole new ballgame. I had my first scan yesterday... and one of the sacs is smaller than the other.. the baby is the smaller sac is also a tiny bit small also. They were able to get heart beats on both babies so I'm hoping that's a good sign... just wondering if anyone else has ever had this happen?

First of all, CONGRATS!!!!! Just try to take it one day at a time (I know that is easier said than done)... or I did it more like from one ultrasound to the next! My boy/girl twins are 13 months old and I thought of 1,000 things to worry about from the time I left the Ultrasound, to the next time I saw the dr, to the next Ultrasound, lol!! Being pregnant with twins IS a "whole new ballgame" but try not to worry too much and enjoy being pregnant again. If the U/S tech and your doctor were okay with it then I would TRY not worry about it! I know many U/S techs don't talk the mommy-to-be through the scan but mine always did and I really appreciated knowing how great the babies were doing every time I saw them and not having to wait to see the dr. to get the report!

i really wouldnt worry right now. My early ultrasounds of my twins were very similac one sac looked half the size of the other sac for several weeks. im now 28 weeks and they are measuring excellent
