this is my 3rd pregnancy and I know everything is different when you carry twins and you should expect more to happen through out the twin pregnancy but im concerned.
I am having alot a yucky vaginal discharge and its so embarrasing. I know its not a leak or anything. I just had an u/s but come on this is nasty. I did have it with my 1st 2 pregnancies but its worse now. is there anything i can do about this?? or just wear thin panty liners? cause thats what i am doing. I would just like to say away from pads during pregnancy haha.
I dont see my OB/GYN till december 9th.
and another thing is it normal to be leaking colostrum already?? I remember with my first 2 pregnancies that didnt happen till I was ready to give birth. like a few weeks before.

thanks ladies for any advice. sorry for to much info.

Oh how I just love when my GF talking abt the wonderful special time of their pregnancies ...
It was ''special'' all right ?..... yeast infection for sure ...common w twins ...so I was told, Doc will get you some pills and you be back to ''normal'' in no time of course the state of ''normal'' can be debated...peeing you pants when sneezing etc. etc. is all very ''sepcial'' ;o) ... enjoy ...

I had this too and thought it was completely weird!!! I hated it bcoz i needed to wear pads for nearly my entire pregnancy which sucked and i couldnt find one book that told me that this much was normal!!!

Eat yogurt too... it helps even out your bacteria levels! Sounds like a yeast infection. I had the discharge as well with my twins (only pregnancy). I never had the yeast infection (almost) I started eating yogurt (I do when taking antibiotics too...) it helps... old wives tale..not sure!

extra discharge is completely normal as long as it's not yellow, green or any other weird color and that it doesn't smell foul. (That last part though, mine is kind of smelly, but my doctor assueres me MINE is normal, it's just that my natural odors have increased...talk about embarassing!!!) with my first, I started leaking colostrum towards the end of my second pregnancy, with these twins, pushing third trimester and nothing yet.

Diddo what everyone else said. I had to suck it up and wear panty liners and breast pads for most of my pregnancy... And towards the end it got worse and I did have to switch to pads... NO FUN!

yep totally normal though not very nice! and as for the colostrum i didnt start leakin with my first child until just before the birth but with my twins it was in the second trimester but i think this is cause of the higher hormone levels in your body from it being twins! hope this helps!

If you are in your second trimester, it's totally normal. Something to do with high estrogen levels or something like that. A twin pregnancy has higher hormone levels than singleton pregnancies, so that could explain the difference between now and your early pregnancies. Most pregnancy books talk about it. If you have itchy or burning, I would suspect a yeast infection and go see the doctor sooner. One of the many joys of pregnancy!!

u should call the Dr's office and let em know ur concerned, cuz my first preg. was wit my twins and around 2-3 months i had the same thing, only i started spotting too; turned out to be a yeast infection, but better safe then sorry insist on being seen sooner rather than later
