My 1 year old twins seem to be having some issues with switching to a sippy cup instead of their bottle before naps, any suggestions? they like sippy cups, but are to used to their bottles before naps and bed. also, should i cut out the before nap bottle/sippy cup and just give them milk at meal times?

i just flat out got rid of bottle a week after they turned one. i had introduced sippys at 6 months. u can try the straw sippy mine used to love them and they r easy because they dont have to tilt them. also my do not use pacifiers, which i think makes it easier for them to get rid of bottles.

My girls weren't thrilled to give up the bottle when they were 1 but I used the pampers natural stages sippy cups and they loved them. We actually would use those when we knew they were very hungry and less likely to throw it (ie, first thing in the morning) but we didn't force them to use it. Within a few days they were willing to take it in the morning (especially if I walked in the room with it when they woke up and let them have it during morning diaper change). We gradually replaced each feeding with them and towards the end, they preferred the cup anyway.
