We're about to undertake a two-month trip home to the UK - our first major trip with our 2 1/2 year old twins - any tips from more experience mums on travelling with two toddlers much appreciated! We have a ten hour flight to start with and then will be travelling round the UK mainly on public transport, but staying with family and friends. Thanks!

Magnadoodle saved my life! Get the travel sized one...pack toys and books they haven't played with before....and make sure you get them on some kind of schedule...bath book bed at the same time every night if possible.....have a great trip!

1.Take lots of snacks on the plane.
2.Get beverages from flight attendant.
3.Bring water/juice for layovers but don't bring your own milk.
4.Go through the security line designated for family
5. Make sure they're drinking something when the plane takes off to help with popping ears.
6. If you know their ears will pop or if one has a cold for sure give them Tylenol an hour before flight to help with pressure.
7. Get a Cheeky Monky Pac Back if you need to carry car seats on the plane. Otherwise, check them in plastic bags and put your name on the bags
8. Take their shoes off before you hit the security line
9. When you get to the plane, ask people at counter if you can get on first and if you can have the first seat. They will usually switch around seats for me if passengers don't mind. There's more leg room in the front.
10. Don't take large carry ons
11. Be the last people to get off of the plane.
12. Have plent of books
13. Bring a laptop w/dvds that keep their attention
14. Take Motrin, Tylenol, etc and thermometer and insurance card with you. Ask friends about hospitals
