DO a Disney theme...take your girls fav disney charecture and your boys, that way it is all the same "theme" but they each have what they want ; ) Twins run in our fam I have twin girls but my cuz has boy/girl and she did this them and it was adorable her 3y/o girl had tinker bell and boy had Toy Story

For my B/G twins 3rd b-day,we did Little Einsteins which is nice as there are 2 girls and 2 boys. All my kids really like the Little Einsteins and the cake was decorated with Rocket and my twins in the front so they felt a part of it. We pulled some of the party ideas from the show such as the ice cream train and the birthday balloons. So sad they are not making this show anymore.

I say do what they like. My B/G twins just turned 2 & we did Spongebob. They each had a cake decorated identically except the border. G- was purple B- was green. Team Oomi Zoomi is nice also because Millie is pink Geo is blue & Bot is green. Check out nick.com they have printables that are nice.

We had most of their parties at home. I would decorate one layer of the cake for her, and one for him. Let them each cut their own cake, and everything!

When they got older they wanted a big cookie cake (thank goodness I was working there and got a discount!) and we decorated half with girly stuff and half with boy stuff. It was really cute!

They're old enough now -- ask THEM what they'd like.

Try birthdayexpress.com they had some great lady bug stuff or orientaltrading.com reasonable prices. I am trying to keep them neutral until they start school and then we will try seperate parties. They have farm animals and other nuetral.

We did neon monkeys for my b/g twins' first birthday. We found all of the material in the Oriental Trading catlogue. Jungle theme and bugs were other things that we thought of. Maybe doing like bugs and butterflies or lady bugs, so you kind of hit both angles. Good luck!

Melissa, thanks for the Wonder Pets cake idea - we were stumped as to what to make for our girls, but they love WP too - I never even thought of making a cake on that theme!

Hi Arnella...My B/G twins just turned 3 in April and they only advice I can give is this...what are they interested in?? Mine both LOVE Wonder Pets and that was the theme I went with. I made a Large cake with a flyboat on it with each character on top...good luck and don't sweat the small stuff. Go with what you think they would both enjoy!! Have fun!!

What about Dora and Diego or Backyardigans? That is pretty neutral. Or you could even go off a movie theme, like Madagascar or something like that. I have done Elmo and Cars in the past for my twins (boy/girl). Last year I ended up having two different themes though.

We had Elmo for our boy's and Princesses for our girl's this year. We've had separate ones for each of them since their first birthday, although it costs a little more.
