hi just wondering my twins are five months old and twin 1 amy has been loosing and gaining weight, she was 16 2 one wk then 15 13 then 16 3 thn 16 3 again over the course of week to week and twin 2 katie was 17 12 and is now 17 10 the week after! more worried about amy though is this normal or has anyone experienced this? they were gaining weight every week untill recently and there all over the place now!

One of my twins did that when she was about 3 months old and pediatrician had me add extra formula to their bottles.

I think that is normal. If we weigh every day we will do that. It may be that one day she is eating more than the other or she may have not had a bowel movement. As long as it does not drop a few pounds in a short time it should be fine. A few ounces losing then gaining back is fine. They are both around the same weight of my nephew that is 5 months old. My boys always gained, never lost. Have you talked to their doctor about it? If they think everything is fine and she's eating fine then I wouldn't worry.
