i have 16 month old twin girls and I heard that i can start potty training now. Did anyone else start potty training at a young age and did it work for you and ur twins? Any advice will be great!

You can start now :) I'm sure once you start you will be able to tell if they are ready, and if they arent then you can decide what to do from there :)

My boys are trained during the day now (2.5yrs) I started them just before they were 2 but then they both got sick so I held it off for a while, then when I started them again it has seriously only taken a few days to go from only using the potty when i sat them on it to now one just uses it naturally and the other is 90% of the way there.. but has no accidents when i ask him every now and then :)

Good luck!!

my girl was potty trained at 16 months and my boy was at 24 months, you just have to make sure that child is ready and not just you.My son wasnt so i just waited a little longer but stayed consentant and he went on his own.His twin sister was more excited than i was, lol.

I have B/G twins started training on 31st dec last year at 2yrs 2 1/2months and they have been fully daytime trained now since about 5th March, however at 2 1/2 my girl is only now starting to have dry over night nappies where my boy is still soaked in the morning.

My girls are 27 months and I thought that they were ready b/c they take off their diaper when it is wet and they do not like dirty diapers at all. However, we just had 2 days of "Potty Party" and even though I was positive and completely aware of them we still had about a 95% accedent rate. So, after running out of panties (I bought 6 packs, 18 pairs each) I finally said, "OK, pull-ups on" I am still asking them but not every 5 min (they were getting annoyed with me=) and we are just going to try it again in a couple of months.
Every kid is different. I am just going to take my time but I am glad that we did this b/c now I know that we need a bit more time.

It really depends on your kids. Some are ready at that age, some aren't. We've been putting one boy on the potty since 18 months because he was really interested in it. He did great for a few months then lost interest. Now he's 100% in diapers again. My second son wasn't interested, so we waited until he was 2. He's now 2 1/4 and he's fully potty trained, but his twin still hasn't regained interest. Normally, I hear people say the earlier you start the longer you will be training. That has definitely been true for my twins!

mine were nearly 2 1/2 but they are all different do it when they are ready, they might not even be ready at the same time, just dont try until they are ready because it will be a lot harder and you will all end up frustrated if it doesnt work.dont worry youve plenty of time.
