What are cool in-door activities for 20 month old twins?

Just wanted to get some ideas of fun projects that other moms of twins do with their toddlers?

Our kids love to play with stickers and draw. I've bought activity books for shape and color recognition but they dont seem to grasp that concept yet. they love puzzles and putting things in and out of pouches...

i brought out my old collection of hello kitty stationery and they have a blast... what have you found your toddlers to be preoccupied with the most? Looking for ideas to stimulate them and keep them busy.

Thanks!
Jane

Check out homeschool blogs/sites. They have some great ideas for activities. Also a favorite craft site is www.notimeforflashcards.com

You can let them paint, use dot paints, play with blocks or legos. There are TONS of things.

you can try folder games with them. you take a manila folder and cut out whatever you wanna put on it and then use some clear contact paper and secure all the thing in place. then you take the same obgects and put them in the contact paper so they can't be ripped up and cut them out so they can play matching games or paper dolls. really anything you can think of. you can even make pockets so them can put the matching item in the pocket. its a cheap and easy way to make tons of games for them to play with whatever you think would visually catching to your children.
my twin boys are to active to want to sit still. so we play with chalk out side alot.

Jane, the group 'SHAM's are teachers!" has ton's of fun ideas for kids that age. (Homemade edible play dough, bath time activities, table cloth coloring, just tons of stuff!)
