I have 4 year old twin boys and it sure was a challenge to get them to use the potty, but I took one week and did nothing but every half an hour no matter where I was I put them on the potty whether they went or not. By the end of the week, they both started to tell me when they needed to go. We still had accidents, but they at least understood the concept. Does that help????
