i have twin 7 yr olds and a 4 yr old all girls, the twins look alike mostly i can tell them apart but my dad can not, but my 4 yr old looks nothing like them and she is smaller obviously!! i get asked if they are triplets, some ask if they are twins, i also get the annoying one "oh you must be busy!! " i hate that one,, i usually say no i sit around all day eating bon bons and watching tv. i can be rude sometimes but i just try to remember that i am truly blessed to have twins (i always wanted twin girls) well to have children period. I also try to remember that people are trying to be nice most of the time so i just smile. when the twins were infants i would have them in dresses one in pink or red and one in purple or blue. remember i said dresses and i would get people saying oh how cute are they a boy and a girl you are so lucky!!! i would say no i am lucky because they are girls in dresses, why would i put a boy in a dress? lol

I always have my identical twin girls dressed in pink or purple and other girly colors, frilly clothes and everything. People always seem to ask "are they girls?" I just wanna say no ones a boy we just hope he is gay... just to see their response.

i have 4 children 3 girls 6,4,10months and a boy 10months i am 24 so for me the most annoying qustion i get is are they yours i feel like screaming would you like to see the scar to prove the reason for this is my children all look like their father. i also get asked if my 2 older girls are twins i wanna say yea just born 2 years apart they dont even look the same age. with my twins tho it really does look like they could have been born 9 months apart which is quite funny my boy is so big wen he is sat next to his sister.

I have fraternal twins boys that are 16 months, and a 4 year old daughter. Yes the normal questions like are they twins, are they identical bug me but what really gets me is when people act shocked when I tell them they are twins and they say ohh I thought they were 9 months apart. I'm not a baby factory people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But i love all the people that praise me and my children can't get enough of that :)

I feel all of you girls!! I have boy/girl twins and the number one annoying question is : are they twins??! SERIOUSLY?? The next question is are they identical? Um no hello have different parts they are fraternal. Oddly, I had a NURSE say they can still be identical--REALLY?! ha. I do get some rude comments though like you have your hands full, glad it is you not me, and how do you do it? I will never forget a pregnant lady said to her hubby while we were walking by: glad that is not us! My hubby told me she said that I wanted to say to her well God knew you couldn't handle it so he gave them to us! HA HA! People don't care and half the time are dumb! I am sorry but really use your brain before you speak! LOL My twins are 14 months on the 7/26 and they are much fun! :)

My twins are 12 now but people would ask are they identical and I would be like no boy girl, Ones in blue and the other in pink with her ears pierced (that was why we pierced her ears we were tired of people thinking she was a boy).

Got caught in the check out line with two ladies asking all sort of questions "are they Identical?" Uh Boy and girl twins non-identical lol, My favorite popular question this week " Did you have a c-section or vaginal/Natural?' I usually politely answer but really maybe I should turn around and ask if they ever had hemorrhoids or how their babies exited their uterus. I live in a small town so there aren't many twins around so I am stared at wal mart like I am an alien I just try and ignore people and just quickly do my shopping. One lady asked if I payed extra to have them put in a girl and a boy.... ha ha big assumption just because I have twins doesn't mean I used fertility help/IVF I just said no God just gave us the biggest suprise of our life :)

I get "are they twins?" - wonder where they got that idea from they just happen to be 2 babies of roughly the same size sitting in a buggy that says bro & sis on the footmuff.
I also get asked a lot if they are identical and instead of embarrassing the person by explaining that a boy and girl can't be identical (look alike yes but not identical) I now just say no.
I also get annoyed with comments like "OMG twins, how do you cope? I would die if I had twins." I find that quite hurtful and have on occassion replied "well it takes a special kind of mum to be blessed with twins" then felt guilty straight after for being so cheeky to someone who probably didn't even think about what they had said.
On the other hand I do feel really proud when out with them and you hear people walking by saying "aww look twins"

Some of my worst have been.
Were they natural?- None of your bloody business, but just for the record yes they were!
Which is your favorite? Oh definitely that one, the other is pure evil!
Is it one of each? When they are obviously identical girls both dressed in pink.
It does make me laugh.
