When did you start to feel your twins moving?

I am 13 weeks as well. This would be my 5th pregnancy and started to feel my twins a few days ago. Flutters here and there. It's a blessing beyond description. Enjoy its coming soon!

Hi there! I first felt my twins moving at around 19/20 weeks (I think they're a little slow lol). My first daughter I had felt at 16 weeks and my second daughter I felt at 15 weeks so I was expecting to be feeling the twins around the same time and was thoroughly disappointed lol. I am 23 weeks now and they are definately making up for lost time though with their kicks and movements. They can be very painful at times so I can only imagine what they'll be like closer to the end : ) The way I describe it is (to me) it feels like someone is gently flicking me from the inside. I think knowing what the first kick feels like and what a contraction feels like are the things women wonder about the most in the first pregnancy. I can't wait to have our twins even though it's going to be busy (my daughters will be nearly 5 and nearly 3 when they arrive) and I'm also so scared about having them : ) Congratulations on your little miracles and good luck!

Congrats! n it kinda feels like butterflies at first (i was about 8 weeks) but i have felt with my twins turning lol and it feels kinda like a little ball or egg doing a flip.. with my 12 year old son i felt him early too but he was a little more calm the whole pregnancy lol. but later he loved to kick things off my belly!

I am 12 weeks now and have felt flutters since 8 weeks, but it's my 3rd pregnancy. I felt my first baby at 17 weeks and 2nd at 12 weeks (both very early for singletons) so I guess I am just extra sensitive.

I felt them at 14wks, at the time I thought I was only having one baby so when I felt the movement it was like "the" baby did a flip, it was soo cool feeling. Congratulations momma!

I am just over 8 weeks and I can already feel them moving sometimes. I thought that was strange but did some research on the internet and found other mothers who were also able to feel the movement this early. As I have given birth 5 times already, I know the difference between the babies moving and gas, etc... I am very sensitive to my children, their emotions, etc. and very connected to them spiritually so I guess it doesn't surprise me. With the exception of my first pregnancy I have always known right away when I get pregnant and immediately tune in to the baby/babies very deeply. Not sure if that makes sense, but that's how it is for me.

I felt the first flutters at 12-13 weeks. It felt like a fish swimming around in my belly. By 16 weeks I felt kicks for the first time. By 19 weeks you could see them moving under my skin in my belly. Now I am 23 weeks and nearly everyday I have a ping pong tournament in there! I know I have felt movements earlier than many of you, the doctor thinks its because my babies are big for their gestational age and also I was very small when I conceived. (not so small anymore, lol!)

I felt m y singleton at 14/15 weeks first. with my twins I felt a few movements maybe around 18 weeks( I actually didn't know we were having twins till 19/20 weeks) It seemed I did'nt feel a lot of movement till 20/21 weeks. Then it gets crowded and it's hard to tell who is moving :)

hi i m 17 week pregnant now,,,,, still didn't feel movement my twin but i feel there heart heart from 10 week starting but i am waiting to feel for there clear movement

I felt my B/G twins move around 15 weeks. I'm 27 weeks now and the movements have gotten increasingly stronger and can see them from the outside.

I think I was five months. For whatever reason, the pregnancy didn't seem as real before I felt them move. Once that happened, I could no longer be in denial! It was incredible! Oh, seeing them move for the first time was freaky. Imagine a massive lump rolling across your belly, lol

I didnt feel them until 24 weeks. My placenta was in the front so they had to kick really hard in order for me to feel it.

I started feeling little butterfly movements at around 15 weeks, but it took a bit longer to be really certain that I was feeling the babies moving. Once they start moving it's an amazing connection with your babies ! If you are having regular scans so that you know which baby is where you may be able to tell which baby it is that is moving. For me, one was very active and the other much less so and seemed to almost get 'stuck' (I'm sure it wasn't, but a bum or a head would be sticking out at an awkward angle and I just felt as though she needed reassuring) - interestingly, these traits carried through to their actual personalities - the more activie one has always been more confident and social whereas the less active one is less confident has always needed more reassurance.

hi i never felt much movement at all but did feel the odd tug at around 23 wks i had 2 anterior placentas(front) but never saw feet or hand sticking out. worried quite alot thru out because of this.and did have alot of backache. i gave birth at 32wks.

I'm also pregnant with twins this time around and at the 16 week spot today. i think with the huge amount of stress that I was under also stressed the babies out and them moving was hurting me. Took steps to unstressed (Kinesiology) and they move a lot less now and don't hurt me as much. It's so exciting having two this time and sooooooo different, I love it.

Around 13 weeks with mine. I'm tiny also (5'2" and 112 lbs)
Mines wake up around 7.30 am when we are on our way to work. I love feeling them move because is the only way to know that they are doing fine between sonograms.
I feel my left baby more than the right one.

I had 2 anterior placentas (means they are in the front) so I never did feel a lot of movement. (which is not necessarily a bad thing as they get bigger). I ended up on hospital bedrest at 28 weeks until I delivered at 35 weeks. With the constant daily monitoring, we had a fairly good idea where each twin was. Twin A (Lily) was transverse (sideways with her head on my right side). She flipped the first week I was in the hospital and then brought her legs up on my left side so she was in a heads down position and pretty much stayed there for the rest of my pregnancy. She was the mellow baby, didn't move around a lot and liked to tickle the inside of my hip bones. Twin B (Patrick) was very active, flip flopping back and forth, trying to cram his entire body up inside my ribcage, transverse and vertical, around the front and then into my back. I never felt most of it.

I felt my twin boys move around 14 weeks..it was the greatest feeling!! Some days they moved constantly like they were kick boxing in my tummy..I felt them up until I had them at 36 weeks!! Enjoy and try to get LOTS of sleep now cuz you won't get much after they arrive!!

I felt my twins around 15 weeks... but they were my 4th pregnancy. Those first movements usually feel like someone trying to tickle the inside of your belly.

Hi i was 5 months pregnat with my B/G twins and my doctor did not know i was having them so i really did not feel movement till about 5 monts..remember there are two in there so there is not much room to move...

I felt mine twins moving at 16 weeks. I could feel light flutters below my stomach and above my stomach. I had a boy and a girl, they are 17 yrs. old now and from the time they were born what one don't think of the other one will. Have fun!

I felt the first movements at 18 weeks. Everyone told me it would feel like butterflies, but it was more like a little fish bumping around. I only felt them about 1 time a day for a few weeks, then it increased. Even at 36 weeks, I hardly ever felt Baby B move, it was usually always Baby A.

i was about 15 wks also when i first felt mine properly try and kick their way out but id had the 'butterflies' for weeks before hand an they never even stopped al the way through until a few day b4 i had them at 38 wks. it was amazing to watch it the bath trying to figure out who was who an which bits were where .... good luck and enjoy the pregancy x

I barely felt mine moving at all until about 20 weeks - that lasted about 7 or 8 weeks and then it seemed it was just a few times a day I'd feel a kick or a jab as they were running out of room to move. Most of the time it felt like "butterflies" in my stomach.

I think I didn't start feeling anything until I got to be 20 weeks or so.....then it seemed, for me, they didn't move allot after 29 maybe just being crowded but I had mine at 32 weeks. Good Luck, they are a blessing!!

I did nit feel mine until 22 weeks. I had an anterior placenta, which blocked the blows.
