when i clean out my boys noses, it causes them to vomit, does this happen to anyone else??

Babies r us sells a battery operated nose sucker, its the greatest thing. Spray saline drops to losen everything, then suck it out, so much less dramatic.

I couldn't get the suction ball to work right, so we've always used saline spray (not the drops). It's in a blue can in the baby section and it works great to loosen anything in the nose and then it just comes out and you can wipe it. My girls love it!

It's never happened to me, but as I'm sure you've learned, all kids are difference.



It could be that you're putting the sucker a bit too far inside their nostrils.



How old are your boys? My girls were just over a year when we started showing them how to blow their nose in to a tissue. If they're old enough, you might give that a try.
