Who fights more? Twin boys or Twin girls?

i have twins boy and girl they are 10 and man they bicker all the time over everything. it is ard couse noah has many issues but jaime is a perfectionts and has to do things her why, its so bad just driving in the car for 5 minuts they start its sad i would love to have family night but after 10 minuts its just me yelling im hoping they will grow out of it, but the amazing thing is they love eaxh other and always defend one another and if one goes out and gets something they always think of the other.

My twin boys used to push each other off a little big wheel when they were toddlers. When I taught them how to ride it together, they then started fighting over who sat in front! And the battle wages on even now over who gets to sit in the front seat or whose turn it is to practice driving! These kids and their sibling rivalries! :o)

I have 6 year old twin girls and they fight even when they have the same toy.

I have 19 mo. old twin girls. One minute they're huggin, kissing, dancing and laughing with eachother the next minute their hitting,biting,crying and taking toys from eachother. It's like they love eachother but they need their own space sometimes. I don't think they would know what to do without eachother.

I have non identitical twin girls and they fight the bit out! They scare me sometimes they are so vicious - biting and pulling hair especially, talk about a catfight! Then they're best buddies 10 mins later, they are 2&half and little madams, but loveable with it

I baby-sat 2 twin girls from age 5 to 10, and shortly after gave birth to my twin boys. I would have to say (from my experience) that twin boys fight consistently throughout their adolescence; whereas, girls fight more when they start getting into the puberty years. The girls of course had their tiffs, but were civil for the most part. My boys are down right mean sometimes.

i have twin girls that have just turned 2 and they fight! its mostly hair pulling, pinching and biting but other times they will kiss and cuddle eachother! its like they have a love/hate relationship lol xx

I am a mother of twin boys and they seem to LOVE to fight with each other. It starts as soon as they wake and ends when they go to bed at night. I didn't expect this because my twin sister and I have always been besties. Sure, we had arguments, but we got over them so quickly. So, I'm wondering if other MOT's see lots of fight between their twinnies?

It's very relieving to see so many of you who also have boy/girl twins who fight like crazy!! I read somewhere that being a twin is like being married since before birth. They love each other tremendously, but they just have to fight sometimes.. =)

Boy/girl twins seem to fight a lot. The adult twins I've talked with say they grew out of it by late teens. There's light at the end of the tunnel. Haha.

I have identical boys that are 5 and they fight a lot! They are so competitive, wants whatever toy the other one has, etc., and their play wrestling will escalate. I used to think it was just a boy thing but from reading all these notes it seems like a close sibling rivalry!

I think that twin girls fight more because I have had both in the family to see it. I have twim girls and see it more then the boys that we had in our family. Girls go at it because they have to be in control. So one will make it known that they are the boss. Plus I know that because I was boss of me and my twin and he was a boy!

My twins girls have ATTITUDE!! They fight constantly. Snide remarks and hitting... from the time they wake up til they go to bed. I thought starting school in different classes would make a difference but they seem to fight harder after school. They are 5 now and I hope it gets better!!

my twin boys do lots of wonderful things together but whenthey play agame where they want to win or go first they fight. I think they enjoy it as they are physically a perfect match so neither is dominate. They seem to share one personality between them and like to swap identity.

Well, my twins are a boy and girl... and at this point that they're seven, is my daughter ever so feisty! When they were smaller, he would always bully her and she would just sit there and cry. I remember feeling so bad for her and wondered how she would ever deal with that sort of situation as time went on. Well, it almost seems like one morning she had just gotten fed up with her brothers bullying, she retaliated, and has never gone back to her "old" self! I no longer have to worry about her because she stands up for herself in other social situations as well. While I am not one to promote hostility, I am thankful that she has naturally taken a stance for herself.

I have twin boys that just turned 2 and so far they don't fight and I hope they stay that way!!! They will play fight - like grab each other & pull down to the ground - but they are laughing and being silly - not upset or to the point of being too aggresive where I need to step in.

I am glad i am not the only one. The bad news is they don't stop. Mine will be 13 this Saterday and they still fight. If you have any clue on how to stop this tell me please.

Yvette, Yep I can relate to that switching of the dominate stick, pretty funny huh? And because I have the boy girl twins, when its the girls turn we get a chuckle every now and then because she can be so mean to my son and bossy... but if he the subservant one that day he just does what she demands lol But he does get her back eventually.

YES!! I do!! and I was wondering the same..only I have boy/girl twins and they fight like cats and dogs!! I thought maybe it was because of them being the opposite genders, but I feel much better knowing I'm not alone on this, because I was beginning to wonder if it was just mine..LOL

Hi Linga .......Well I have boy girl twins and oh goodness they fight! They are two now and I just am amazed how they learned how to fight with eachother being that they see no fighting in the house, I hate siblings to hit eachother never allowed my older ones to hit, but these two whew, they just let eachother have it till i get there to break it up. Drives me crazy!!!
