i really want to make a patchwork quilt but i have never done anything like it before, where do i start? and has anyone got any patterns? or good web sites?

I've not made one before (only a cushion years ago in school) and I'd also like to make one for Grace. I'd suggest going to a material shop and choosing coordinating (or not) fabrics, quite often material shops have ends or cutting etc. I'm assuming once you've chosen a pattern its just a case of sewing all the pieces together. I might try googling patchwork quilt/blankey patterns. x
