Just wanted to know....if you could go back in time to before you were pregnant, would you have done things differently?? Had an abortion...Used protection....Led a better lifestyle...
Or would you not have changed anything at all?

when i got pregnant i was doing stuff i never did before because i was hanging around with the wrong crowd. thats how i got pregnant. i noticed a missed a couple and i took a test and when it came back positive i broke down, i couldnt even look after my self at the time, i did think about getting rid of him at frst but i thought about it. a little person growing inside of me. what right do i have to get rid of his life? im so glad i kept him. he means the world to me and if i could go back and change things i wouldnt because ithas made me who i am now. you must be really proud of yourself for turning your life around no one thinks that anyone can do that but you proved them wrong. i really hope you are proud of your self careen! it takes a lot to do what you did x becky x

I know I've started this conversation but I just wanted to get it started by saying this....

Before I was pregnant I made some bad lifestyle choices. I had a heroin habit, I used to shoplift and steal to fund that habit, I never eat properly, if at all. I used to hang around with the wrong people and in the wrong places too.

All of these things landed me in prison. When I arrived in the prison I was given a pregnancy test. I hadn't even suspected I may have been pregnant! That was the last thing I was thinking about to be honest! I didn't think I would be able to have children because of the life I led.

When the nurse turned round and told me I was at least 2 mnths pregnant....Well I nearly died!! I know I fell off the chair I was sat on!! lol

Even though I had led a bad life up until that moment....when that woman told me there was a life growing inside me, I didn't even think about destroying it. I had no doubt in my mind that I wanted to bring my baby into the world. Some people may say I was being selfish, as in fact my gran did when I told her about it!

But I have now sorted my life out and I am clean off drugs, I no longer bother with the wrong people.....I have my own lovely home and a lovely boyfriend. And most of all I have the most beautiful son in the world!! A true diamond in the rough and he is my reason for being and my one and only love!! xxxx ♥ Mammy Loves You Baby Boy!!! ♥
