My daughter never took a dummy so i let her have a bottle till just before she was two BIG MISTAKE, she grew very attached to it, so i won't be doing the same for my son even though he doesn't have a dummy either!! she threw quite a few tantrums but now at 26 months shes perfectly happy without one. And a word of advice dont ever put your child to bed with there bottle, otherwise its harder to get them to bed latter on xx

hey. just thought id share this for any one who would like to wean babies from bottle to cup. I bought an avent bottle to cup trainer kit off amazon, it comes with handles a sippy cup insert and a variable flow teat. My sons only 6.5 months so i just use the handles at the minute but im sure it'l turn out to be a helpful purchase! xxx

they say to take them off their bottles by the age of 1. they're only guidelines though. we took our son off his bottles at 14 months and he now has sippy cups morning and night of milk and water during the day.

Babies should be taken off their bottles at around the age of 1. Make sure that your baby is well established in eating 3 meals a day before taking her off her bottles.

heya i think she is still too young to be takin off bottles, just try to reduce the amount of bottles she gets. By the time my son was 1 he was only on 1 bottle and that was before bed time, a few nights ago i took the bottle of him (hes 16 months) all together it didnt even bother him he didnt cry for it he actually sleeps in longer because he hasnt got a bottle. Im glad i took it off him when i did so he wasnt attached to it, he now drinks water and juice out of a cup. Its really up to you but shes too young at the minute.
