i've googled myself blue in the face, but can't seem to find any way of finding a pediatrician that won't give me hell for not vaccinating my kids. how did you choose a pediatrician? any advice?

I had the same problem about 3 years ago when my son was born. We decided at that time to stop with my DD vac. and not to vac. my son. The ped. we saw at the time refused to see my children. So I got out my porvider book from blue cross and just started calling places. Im so glad because we see the most amazing dr now!

We see a family doctor instead of a pediatrician. We also only go at 2 months, 6 months, 1 year and then every year after that unless they are sick. If they are sick we see a chiropractor that practices homeopathy and only if he can't treat us do we see the family doctor while sick. When looking for a family doctor look for a smaller practice that isn't an extension of the local hospital (they should have rights at the local hospital). I also found that DO (doctors of osteopathy) are more likely to be nonvax friendly then MD (medical doctor). I also asked our chiropractor for recommendations. You could also see about going to a naturalist or other natural doctor in your area. Our insurance doesn't cover that stuff so we don't go to one at the moment.
