Cassandra Clare has a series, The first is called City of Bones, 2nd City of Ashes and the 3rd will be out in March called City of Glass. They are really good but not really like Twilight but I think that she would enjoy them.

I have read the Twilight series, and have found other great books since. However, my 13 year old is "Twilight Obsessed". Any suggestions of another series that would be age appropriate for her? Someone suggested Neil Gaiman as an author she might like "Stardust"...even though it's not a series, is anyone familiar with that?

I love reading the Womens murder club series by James patterson. It is better than the television series that came out last fall. It is about four girlfriends who solve murders. Homicide detective, an ME, ADA, and Journalist they help solve big crimes in San Francisco. I can't put the books down when I read them and then read them again. plus Patterson is still making books for the series. His other books are the same way. He knows how to keep you reading

Hi... I loved the Twilight series also..After reading it thou I was stumped with what to read next...The Charlene Harris books are really good and so are the Mortal Instrument series by Cassandra Clare, also the Rachel mead Vampire Academy books are great!!

Oh, I agree - I LOVE the Women's Murder Club Series! And I am getting ready to read the Southern Vampire Series (Sookie Stackhouse) - HBO's True Blood series was based on the first book in this series, a bit of trivia!

If you like crime novels, the "Womens Murder Club" series by James Patterson is must read. There like 7 novels in the series. I think you will enjoy them. I loved them.

If you liked the vampire theme, Charlaine Harris has the Sookie Stackhouse mysteries. She has a couple other series as well that are pretty good. If you liked the slapstick comedy in the Evanovich series, Mary Janice Davidson has a humorous romance vampire series that is quick and light reading.

The Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich is awesome. There are like 14 of them already. I started with the first one right after I read the Twilight books and I'm already on the tenth one. They are funny and quick to read. Good if you like crime miysteries.
