I'm a new mom, so I've been going through parenting books like water since before the LO was born. (He's 7 months now.) I just finished "The Other Baby Book," and I'm waiting for "Beyond the Sling" to come to my library. I have such a long to-read list, it doesn't give me much time for the stuff I used to read.
My most recent non-parenting books were "Love you More" and "Sold."
"Love You More" was a suspense, thriller, mystery type book. I guess I liked it alright. It was strange that as I was reading I kept thinking, "Why am I reading this?" but I couldn't put it down and finished in about 2 days. Maybe it just felt overly dramatic.
"Sold" was very good. I don't remember where in the world it's based, but it's about a girl that is sold into prostitution by her step father. Based on real accounts from girls that have been rescued from that situation.
