So sorry ladies - I have been slammed at work and unable to get on here. What wonderful suggestions we have gotten this month! Since May is the month of Mother's Day we will read:

Life on the Refrigerator Door by Alice Kuipers

AND/OR

The Sometimes Daughter by Sherri Wood Emmons

The other suggestions look great - so we will definitely have to read them in June/July!

The Vow by Kim & Krickitt Carpenter/ John Perry

Kilgannon by Kathleen Givens

We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver

I did enjoy it, but was kind of melancholy afterwards....

I just read Life on the Refrigerator Door; it is a quick read, but I enjoyed it. Anyone else?

Hi Michelle - same thing happened with me! Look under the June/July post and there is a link to PaperBack Swap - I found Kilgannon there. Good Luck!!

Wow.. for the first time my library wasn't able to find a book through ILL..Kilgannon - and I was looking forward to reading that and maybe getting hooked on another series for the summer.. Did I remember hearing about a internet site for buying or exchanging inexpensive paperbacks that was discussed here at one time?

I finished The Sometimes Daughter last week. Still contemplating reading Life on the Refridgerator Door. =) Done enough crying on my own the past week!

I did enjoy The Sometimes Daughter though.

The Sometimes Daughter by Sherri Wood Emmons was a MUCH more pleasant read! Has anyone else finished it yet?

Oh my goodness - I am so sorry ladies - I seriously had no idea it would be a sad book. I read it last night... a good read, but definitely very sad.

I finished "Life on the Refrigerator Door" really good book but very sad. It took me less than an hour to complete it> I have passed it on to my sister as well as a couple friends
